My mum is still very much a Gemini. She's versatile, talkative, knowledgeable about many different topics, even slightly child-like in her approach to life despite how hard it has been for her. Although her basic nature is still very Gemini-like, there's no denying that she has some Scorpio influence especially during hardships. She dwells on what's under the surface and she's very sensitive to the moods/atmospheres around her. To people who hardly know her, she'll seem like her optimistic Gemini-self, but to the people who are closest to her know that there's so much to her. I've noticed that with my mum, if she feels like something is being hidden from her she'll result to trying to manipulate information out of people.

Our obvious differences are in our basic natures. On the surface, we're very different. I don't seek stimulation from socialising, very much a wee loner and I'd hate to always be on the go. I keep to myself a lot and I prefer being around people I'm comfortable with. Different from my mum, who is fine with chatting away to new people. Emotionally, it's difficult to know what I'm feeling but sometimes easy to read the vibes in my moods. With my mum, you'll know when something is churning underneath the surface but you wont know why or when that will eventually come out into the open. Normally it takes an accumulation of things to finally push her over the edge.
