Good question! Well, he has a Cancer Saturn and Lilith. Or he jumped the gun on deciding he didn't want to leave the oven. Either way, he never moved from that spot no matter how much I begged, pleaded, etc. The C section was unavoidable. :p

I'm a needle phobe so you can imagine the angst I worked myself into. lol Recovery wasn't so bad, though. The first few days were the hardest/most painful. I was off all pain meds in a week. With the second child (another c section) I was horseback riding with the dr's ok after 2 weeks. No trotting or anything faster than a walk, though. You'd think it would hurt but OMG, it was bliss! Gets the hips moving/working nicely. Plus, horses are my lifelong love/obsession so I was happy. Having stopped riding at 8 months pregnant was too long to go without.
His Scorpio bits are Mercury and Rising.

Yes, I've read this and I hope getting a divorce won't be one of those things he carries as a burden. On the other side of that coin is having him grow up seeing his father be abusive and thinking that's normal. No easy answers, no clear path. Part of me is happy to finally have the freedom to raise them as best and beyond as I can to help them be the best they can be, and part of me breaks inside for the pain I know the divorce has cause. Never an easy way.

To be precise, which variation of Scorpio Man are you looking for?
According to Astrotheme, there are:
20 planetary positions
18 planet in house positions, (of which there may exist any number of multiple planets in a given house)

Yes, I've read this and I hope getting a divorce won't be one of those things he carries as a burden. On the other side of that coin is having him grow up seeing his father be abusive and thinking that's normal. No easy answers, no clear path. Part of me is happy to finally have the freedom to raise them as best and beyond as I can to help them be the best they can be, and part of me breaks inside for the pain I know the divorce has cause. Never an easy way.
Just chin up and keep on keepin' on.
My advice, and you may already be doing this, is to read up on child psychology, the effects of divorce on children and ways to counter the negative impact such situations brings. Beware of "clamming up" when the boy needs your attention. Also, beware not to "suffocate" him (ala cancer clingyness). Be his biggest supporter but don't make a mama's boy out of him.
Just some thoughts but I'm sure you get the idea, already.

Yep, have been doing a lot of that. Have also been doing my damndest to not bad mouth his dad around him. I have, however, had to be real about some things his dad has done. It's a hard line to toe....not trash talking his dad and not babying him, either, but letting him know when something wasn't right.
sigh i've got my eyes on one, even though i said i didn't want another scorpio. my ex was sooo paranoid and insecure. there's something about you men! ARGH!!!

My parents split about 5 years ago, I was 17 and already In a pretty crappy place. At the time I would have said It ruined me, witnessing my fathers fall from grace was the most painful experience I have been through. Then my Libra mother would badmouth him, and all I could fell was how much she was hurting, and hating herself for putting herself through it. Then came the guilt. I felt like me and my sister where the reason they got back together when we where very young, and they had sacrificed there own true happiness to create a strong home to raise us in. The truth is the relationship sucked! And after it all I realize that as soon as they began to get over each other they both have grown and changed Into far better people. Your boy might be hurt for a while, but remember his pain is like weight lifting for the soul, You sound like you are doing all the right things, how could a cancer go wrong in this situation. how old is your son? Sounds like despite the pain and angst you figured it out and so did they, in their own way. I won't ever get back together with the ex, though. I won't give up who I am ever again for another. In fact, I'd rather die than get back together with him. It was that bad....and I've never had a fear of death. Moving forward is the only way possible. I know it's good for my son to go through emotional struggles and it builds him up and helps him grow, but this is one pain I wish I could have avoided for him and gods knows I tried to avoid it! He's 9. I'm hoping I didn't wait too long, but there's no going back and redoing the past, so...it is what it is.
