Taurus Girl misses Scorpio Ex

I broke up with him 14 months ago because he was not ready for a relationship and I couldn't deal with just being friends and still dating him . We didn't part bad, we didn't cheat, didn't fight, didn't disrespect each other , he said I am just not ready to be in a relationship. He said I love you and would do anything for you and your boys . I believe that is true .. He said if I was divorced as long as you (6 years ) we would be getting married you are perfect for me . He was heartbroken, he is now divorced 3 1/2 years his ex wife of 19 yrs cheated , and then he lost his mom a year later and then his dad died last year . I can't stop thinking about him . He is on the dating sites, I see him there . I am on there too. I do not believe he has a girlfriend . We text each other every few months always short, positive and sexy . He came to my son's Bar Mitzvah a few months ago , everyone was coming up to him, " omg , wow you came ...etc...he took it very well, he kissed me good bye and I didn't hear from him until I text him last week for his birthday . Again short sweet text back " thanks babe ". and in true Scorpio form he also sent me a sexy pic text. I try to date others but , I am stuck . I miss him so bad , but I won't chase. I guess I need to get a clue , he is not interested in me . I still love him. Any thoughts —?

You already know this deep down, but your heart won't let you see the obvious. And you need to start accepting this before you waste another year on something that will never be. You can stubbornly hold onto this if you want, but you are only hurting yourself.

I agree but not fully.

Love is not always black and white, there is many shades of grey to it.

Not a lot of people will dive in love head first. Reason has a say aswell. We all want to beleive that love will conquer all, but in real life love is sometimes not enough.

A man can deeply love a woman but not be ready financially to be in a commited relationship. He might not be ready to be a step dad to her son. We don't know his reason.

Now i ageee that you have to move on. Maybe he's be back, but you can't wait for him.

It's best to stop all communication with him. He must feel your absence for good.

The biggest love of my life still thinks i didn't love him but in fact i feel he was my soul mate. I simply didn't feel he was husband material. Long story!
