Can we not turn this into a bitch fest please...for once just keep the boards clean..whoever has a issue with each other go take it to the playground...
Does the same go for scorpio females? Does everyone thing they are whiney as well? My sister is a scorpio and I never once heard her whine. She could be real mean sometimes if she thought you had crossed her, but winey no!
well, at first i figured it was just you bitchin' again - you chronic whiner, you - but then i realized the quotes in your profile are, in fact, quite humorous.
"All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes to make it possible."
t.s. eliot. i am appalled that you did not guess him. my clue was very good. if you have never read anything by him, i am even more appalled, and suggest you do so immediately.
Googled tommyland: "Readers, would you like to know why I've named this ride Tommyland? The word means many things to me: It is the name of my studio, my home, my hard drive, ..."
Euphemism?
"if you have never read anything by him, i am even more appalled, and suggest you do so immediately."
Yum: "For some odd reason, the thought of a 40 yo southerner writing this amused me."
Great! That was my intention. For all the sh1t about Virgos being too serious, I'm actually looser and laugh more than lots of people I know... yeah, I got good drugs!
But, how do you know that I'm really a 47 year-old virile Virgo Male from the South? I claim to be, but I could also be a 17 year-old whiney Scorpio Male from the North. The possibilities are endless... just like the Internet.
:: DY hands wheels a big block of sharp cheddar to go with all her whine. ::
anotherscorp: "Some of these Scorp guys around here can't get laid and might be taking it out on you is my theory."
Yeah, I picked at S_R about that in a previous post. Most men get uptight and short-tempered when their white count gets too high, and ScorpGuys can be moody sh1ts even when they are getting regular nookie...
"I don't think you are your Scorp's biotch at all."
It's all in the eye of the beholder. Virg's want to please their partner, and some see that as being p-whipped. It's also cultural: What a Southerner would see as just being nice or well-mannered looks like being a patsy or pushover - even to my Yankee relatives, who should be used to me by now...
What's wild is that my Scorp would tell y'all I'm a Grouch and that I try to get my way all the time, and she definitely wouldn't call me her biotch. (She's called me lots of things over the past 20+ months, but biotch wasn't one of them!)
"My father is a Virgo and he has never, ever whined in my life."
My VirDad doesn't whine, either. But, he will grump. The difference? Well, his grumping (like mine) has some basis in reality; and after grumping, he'll do something about it - not wait for someone else to take care of whatever caused the grumping in the first place. Like Father, like Son.
Roxi: "oh anotherscop - dyr is SO her b1tch!"
Y'all just can't stand it - an Earth Boy on top of a Water Girl (most of the time!) - admit it. It'll make you feel better!
"The Caps are smart people, if executives, even more smarter."

:: DY laughs until his eyes tear up - dammit! ::
For The Record: I am neither my Scorp's biotch, tool, or toy. I am, quite humbly, her loving Virgo husband; her bestest friend in the whole wide world; the light of her life; the wind beneath her wings; her sunshine, her only sunshine; the hub of her wheel of life; the nexus to her plexus; Sophocles to her Antigone; and, the hops to her malted barley.
... is there any other kind?
Nope!
From the little brother who used to dog my every step, to the wayward youths on this Board -- all a bunch of sissy-britches...
Happy New Year Children!!
