Who Is More Stubborn: Scorpio or Taurus?
Scorpio is often the more stubborn of the two when they decide they are right or when they refuse to open up. Taurus is also famously stubborn, but in real situations it usually shows up as slow, steady resistance rather than emotional intensity. Many people notice Scorpio’s stubbornness feels harder to break because it can turn defensive and all-or-nothing.
I'm not sure if I would call it stubborn, the way I see it Scorps are more apt to help you if they see a benefit in it for themselves... (they'll be quick to throw you under the bus too if something goes amiss)
I'm a Scorpio and have been in a relationship with a Taurus. As far as asking for help I find that I am very stubborn in that area. I just feel I should be able to do it on my own. Maybe a sign of weakness if asking for help?
The Taurus I knew only asked for help if it was in a friendly situation such as if he needed help he would invite friends over but make it more of a social gathering rather than a chore of helping out.
when you deal with signs that are in the same quality, it's like comparing apples and apples. by definition, taurus is the FIXED representative of the fixed signs, but how FIXED a fixed sign is depends on the issue that's being threatened. ie, threaten security and a taurus will be more fixed. threaten power, scorpio. threaten freedom, aquarius. threaten pride, leo.
so for me, threaten my pride or my freedom and i may not give a fuck. those issues are important to me, but eh, i don't feel as threatened by these restrictions as would a leo and aqua respectively.
with that said, other aspects of the individual's chart need to be taken into account. ie, a taurus/scorpio with mutable signs in other planets would be far more flexible in some areas when comparing that individual to someone who does not have a heavy mutable influence.
+ 1 on what Caligula said . I can only add that Scorpio and Taurus males that I know are more fixed than the females by about 1000 mules or so
Taurus and Scorpio are both stubborn as each other. Their nature is fixed. The difference between them is that one is earthy and the other is watery.
Taurus tends to be straightforward in their stubbornness. For Taurus, stability is very important so this sign will most likely not welcome change with an open mind. They would rather take the old and familiar routes. Also don't ever tell Taurus to do something all over again. Taurus are builders, not breakers.
Scorpio is trickier because this (water) sign goes with the flow. Scorpio thrives on radical and deep change to the point of becoming (self-) destructive sometimes. However there's always a hidden, but unwavering desire behind all that destruction. That's what makes Scorpio fixed in nature, just like Taurus.
I think it depends on the Scorpio you're dealing with...Although the first thing that pops into my head is "I'M RIGHT,I GOT IT, I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING" i often let other help if they keep insisting...and i fall easily if someone asks for help..My sister however won't and it's sooo frustrating. I will ask for help and instead of helping me she will point out where i went wrong and WHY i'm now in need of help,and will only help if she gets something out of it ex: i need a lift somewhere,she'll only agree to take me if i fill up her gas tank or buy her food. My family often feels they can't talk to her or count on her for that same reason,me however...they always call me first.

Scorpio's aren't stubborn we just stand for what we believe in!

i agree - with my experiences with taurus, u cannot shake them once they make up their mind...
Ahhh....The EVERLASTING debate..
Stubbornness all depends on what the Scorpio or Taurus...believes in and thoroughly supports. One thing for sure, is that when these two signs are DONE, or have made up their minds about something..THAT is IT..carved and engraved in a TOMBSTONE.
There always seems to be a battle of wills between these two.
When it come to the waiting game...TAURUS will wait..and WIN. The Scorpio..not so much, because they are impatient.

Depends on the situation. Both signs will eventually come around. Show them facts and then take a step back. Do not try to convert or badger them.

Depends where the boulder and ice are?Even in the coldest place on earth, ice can melt and reform itself on a sunny day. Boulders--not so much. It takes millennia of erosion to make that boulder turn into sand...

CORRECT.. Scorpios are more prone to transform, while Taurean RESIST change and remain..FIXED.

Scorpios rarely transform their ways hence why the phoenix is stuff of myth and legend lol and Taurus don't know what to do when called on being wrong. 😄
haha...when stating something, I usually try to fact check, so that I WON'T be wrong. But when it comes to acting out "wrong" towards someone..It'll take time for me to cool off before I apologize. They shouldn't have gotten me angry. I'm not nice when I'm angry....

I'm a scorpion with cap rising and aqua moon had two women Taurus in my life loved them both but we are two sides of the same coin we bring it out in both sides 50/50

Posting this as I have dealt with several scorpios in the past and one in the present.
The scorpio's I believe are more stubborn that Taurus's, especially when asking for help/assitance.
I thought I was bad but not as bad as these Scorpions.
What is your view?
