This brings to mind a curious thought: how are you all while drunk? Me: sillier than a loon and twice as loony. I end up laughing at everything, getting giggle fits, randomly singing and making up songs. I also try to shush myself.

BWAHAHAHAHA!!! yesh, the red cordial effect!

They're 6 and 9...both boys! Never a dull moment around here. Add a 6 month old puppy and kitten. So far the kids haven't gotten bored or outgrown my dorky humor. I'm sure there will come a day when they roll their eyes. That's when the real fun begins! lol

lol, well it might start getting embarressing for them at around 15,16 when they are at high school and start dating.
You might have to learn to tone it down....a little...by then...maybe even before then.

With all those Cancer placements (mother / nurturing energy) you have, there's a risk you might unwittingly mollycoddle them, that could be problematic as they move into adulthood.
*just an observation that might be worth keeping in mind.

I'm not sure there's a dimmer switch.

Mollycoddle, HELL NO! Luckily I was raised by two geminis and they gave a great sense of balance to how to raise kids. Plus I have more in my chart than just Cancer, but the Cancer is a huge hitting player in it.

Thanks for that, I was wondering about your chart.
I see you have a grand fire trine. With Mars Aries in the 10th. Interesting.

Gemini's providing a "great sense of balance"....huh?....balance is the domain of Libra, not Gemini.

You're welcome and yes, there's quite a bit of interesting there. I'm still figuring stuff out.

I don't know, I just get along great with gems and understand them a bit. Managed to get a scorpio and gem to understand each other while they were having a dispute. My mom's an artist, my dad's a research scientist. There was a lot of common sense to how they raised me and my siblings, especially from my mom. Definitely got the freedom and support to be ourselves and to explore what we wanted.

Ahh ha, now this make more sense to me than your previous description.
🙂
That is so wonderful to have supportive parents growing up.
Two Gemini parents, interesting, you know, same Sun sign pairings are not as rare as we think, it seems.
One of my past girlfriend's parents were both Geminis and I have two friends, both Pisces, born same day too!

I'm super blessed to have the parents and family I have. They gave us boundaries, structure and responsibility while also giving us room to grow. My mom still doesn't know how she got such volatile daughters, though. My sis is Aquarius. Both of us won't back down from a fight if we believe we're right or protecting someone. Both of us are super creative. My sister is more of an explorer than I am. She doesn't mind moving around the country. I just laugh and tell her, "well, you DID want strong girls and not doormats. It's all your fault."

My parents don't have a wildly passionate relationship. It definitely has a more friendship vibe which is something I've noticed a lot with same sign pairings.
