Fuckin hit he enter button by accident! Ok, don't mind that minor hiccup. Anyway, On to what I was trying to say.
2009 Stats: 51 for 68, 669 yds passing, 75% Comp. rate, 9 TDs/2 INTs and a Qb rating of 132.9
Those are insane fucking numbers!!! He's got a healthy Marques Colston to pass to this time as his #1, Shockey shoring up the TE position and giving him anothe rproven weapon in the pass attack and having a proven runner in Mike Bell keeping defences honest. I see him sustaining these numbers all season long barring injuries. Everyone should have him in their Fantasy Football leagues. If he keeps this up he could very well smash the single season touchdowns and yards passing record. Now if only they had a better defense.
Yeah, that game was incredible! I was torn because neither one is my team, but I love Reggie Bush (of course, fellow Trojan), but Deshaune Jackson is off da' hook as a receiver; excellent hands and incredible accelerationn speed - he and Marshawn Lynch were by far two of the best players at Cal Berkley! Anyway, the drives Drew performed were incredible, but also, people shouldn't sleep on Mark Sanchez either. I know he's a rookie QB and everything, but his numbers preseason and now in regular season (I know, only two games to go off of) have been good, and he has a strong presence, and up to date, does not tend to get rattled too easily. I'll reserve my full opinion once he has one of those brutally cold games. He's a Cali boy, so I think that's going to be a hell of an adjustment! Now, Brady Quinn....good lord! *shakes head* horrible!
Reggie's coming into his own this season. Doesn't make as many mistakes when he runs anymore. Jackson is a baller, straight up the kid can fly. I actually want to go down to Buffalo and catch another Bills game. I was at the '08 preseason game and could tell that Lynch would be a good back. The guy's a bruiser, a real downhill type runner.
I actually really like Sanchez. He's got a lot of pocket presence and feels out oncoming rushers like a vet. To see a rookie with such poise is incredible really. The Jets have something good down there. I've even heard they've anointed him Namath 2.0 down there hahaha! An I agree once the cold weather hits then we'll really see what he's made of. But it was kind of a bummer watching Rex Ryan's D chew up my Pats. They kept railing on Tom all game and he could never get in rhythm. Enough crying over spilled milk. Mark Sanchez, Matt Ryan on the Falcons and Joe Flacco on the Ravens are up and coming QBs everyone should be keeping their eyes on.
Quinn plays for the Browns lol. Honestly, there isn't much I can say about him. I haven't seen enough games, preseason and/or regular, to come up with anything to say about him. It's hard to get a Borwns feed up here, even with satellite.
