What do you guys think of the game and your predictions....

And who do you guys think is the best team in the league right now?

It's a tough call, because Mark is a fellow Trojan like moi, but in the end, I just think the Pats have a better overall game than the Jets. Also, I think that as the season goes on, the Pats tend to do really well and seem to get into their stride on both the offensive side and defensive side. So, while I'd love for Mark to represent, I do think the Pats will will, but I can't see it being a trouncing, they WILL have to work for it.

Now, that Sunday night game is gonna be off da' hook too! Ray Lewis vs. The Steelers! Hahahahahaaa! I don't believe it will be a high scoring game (like the Jets vs Pats game likely will be), but you are going to see the Defenses for both of these teams get down and dirty. I'm thinking the Ravens could pull this one out, but if they are playing in Steeler country...I don't know, cause that Steel curtain could come crashing down! Either way, lots of KICKA $ $ Football viewing for me. My friends and family were so annoyed with me, because I watched football Thanksgiving Day, ALL day on Friday (had to see that Auburn game); Saturday, Sunday AND Monday night! HA!

Well, in respect to the Jets vs. Pats, I'm not a "fan" per se of either, so I can (try) to be objective; I just enjoy good games that are well executed, so with that being said, I think that it should be a stellar game. What I will say, (and yes, I am biased for Sanchez), but I think that the Jets showed an unbelievable amount of poise in that drive Sanchez put together to win that game against the Houston Texans. While all of the pundits say they "blew" a big lead (which they did); I think they performed well, and finished the game in a "Like Whoa" fashion. I was stunned as I watched how every play that was called in that drive was so methodical and near perfect. I think the whole drive took no more than 45 seconds. That's not easy to do; no matter who is throwing the ball, making the catches, or rushing the ball. I think the one thing that the Ravens have that the Steelers don't have is Ray. He is old school, run your a $ $ down and drag you down and make you hurt! I'm sure it's going to be a great game regardless who comes out on top! I can't wait to watch 🙂

I like the Jets! So I'm more interested in a good game more than anything but I think the Pats are in an upswing for the next few weeks.

I love football....its my longest living passion.

Im a Florida State Seminole fan. So i naturally hate the Gators and the Hurricanes.

I think that Boise State kicker will be in rehab in a few years.....he cost his team a chance at making a serious BCS statement. He must have been the sickest person in the country last week.

It will most definitely be a good game on Monday night! Something to look forward too.
Two of my cousins went to Florida State and played football there; one even went to the pros. My ex-Leo that I "quasi" dated, is a Gators fan, and I always liked the Miami Hurricanes when I was growing up (before college), so I always rooted for them, so I am pretty much into Florida football (even if it's against my will 🙂 just kidding! )

Yeah, I didn't want to call you out, but I was thinking of you when I made that post! LOL! I knew you were incensed! With my team, both the Chiefs and the Broncos looked H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. It was like, who could be the worse! Ughhhhh! The Dallas and Indy game was good too. I'm sure Ray Lewis wanted to hurt somebody after that game!

OY! Did yo also see/hear that Josh McDaniels (HC for Broncos) was let go! It's crazy, because he hasn't even been there that long. They got rid of Shanahan for losing (and now he is losing for the Redskins). Anyway, I think it's shi $ $ y of the Broncos since JUST LAST WEEK, they had the owner saying they were "sticking" with Josh, but then he back-peddled to "We will do what's best for the team as a whole...I pretty much read the writing on the wall, and I think Josh did too. Not that I like Josh, but good grief, give a coach a damn chance!

And yes, tonight's game should be good! Can't wait!

*smh * Yes, I expected more of a game too, but like you said, you just move on to the next game! Rest assured, haters will ALWAYS hate, even if they have no (real) ammunition. LMAO!! Hahahaha...so true! It's like clockwork - Thursday - Monday nights 🙂 if only they would add Tues and Wed, we could have football every night of the week during football season! I love college football too! SO much electricity, and you get to see the future of the NFL!

But, it's probably not a good idea to have football 7 days a week, because I wouldn't get ANY work done!

OMG! Can you imagine getting married at the Football Hall of Fame—? That would be rocking! I remember the first time I was in Indy and I went to the racetrack and kneeled down on the track and fake kissed the track! That was awesome, so I can't even imagine how kicka $ $ it would be to go to the Football Hall of Fame; just wish it was somewhere more exciting than Ohio...not that there is anything wrong with Ohio! Never thought I'd get marriage proposals through my love of football; although my ex-fiance used to say I loved football more than he did, and he played it! HA! I love to go to Sports Bars, and guys automatically roll their eyes and think that me and my girlfriends are just there to pick up guys. Then, a few will get liquid courage to talk to us and they find out we are legit! Then all the betting comes up (free drinks, etc) and it turns into a blast! 😉 Life is good!

The Bears and the Pats - not too much into the Bears nor their QB, so not my most favorite viewing pleasure. I do think the Cowboys & Eagles will be a good game to watch; especially since the Cowboys look like they are finally waking up a bit after unloading Wade P.

Well, we do have TWO Monday Night Football games to watch. I think the Giants vs. Vikings game will be on momentarily. Gotta finish dinner and get some Stella's to enjoy with my games.
OH shizzzz, I forgot to mention, as I said before, that Cowboys & Eagles game was good, but I do agree with the commentators and sports pundits that Vick is getting the crap whacked out of him. I don't care WHAT the refs and people think regarding his conduct off the field; if he's playing, he deserves the same protection as the likes of Brady, Manning, Brees, etc. It's B.S. and annoys the crap outta' me every time I watch the Eagles play and Vick is hacked. Much like the "Shaq Hack Attack" they are doing their own version in the NFL called the "Vick Smack attack." HORRIBLE!

Oh yea, and what about DeSean J tumbling into the end zone. It doesn't bother me; but so many people are pissed at him. I tell them, that's what happens when you are young, talented, and feel entitled! At least he makes for entertaining watching; although, he is NOT endearing himself to his team mates when he's slapped with those 15 yard penalties!

Yes, I pretty much agree with all of your predictions too; except for the Packers vs. Eagles. I still think that the Eagles can pull it out (but not if they play like they played this past week). I think all of them, with the exception of the Seahawks vs. Saints are all pretty evenly yoked, so we shall see!

Speaking of Reggie Bush...yes, that would be a carazyyyyy upset if the Seahawks beat the Saints, but what I will say is that Coach Carroll is that type of person who doesn't believe he "can't" do anything. Even if ALL the odds are stacked against him, he STILL feels he can win. So, while I think it would be ridiculous (given the Seahawks subpar record this year) I don't think anything is impossible. I've been in on a practice when coach Carroll was with USC, and he has an infectiousness about him that really uplifts his team. Despite a lot of negative things that people can and will say about Coach Carroll, I believe he is a good coach, and he always desires to win. People asked him in countless interviews how he kept the guys focused when they had such an unbelievable winning record from the early 2000's until he left USC, and he basically told them that he is focused on winning. Each game is important.

You cant win anything with just three good players on both sides of the ball and completely neglecting the Special Teams.

You are right, he didn't get a (fair) shake when he was coaching for the Jets. It's interesting to me that some coaches get a lot of latitude; whereas others don't get that same latitude --- Tyrone Willingham at Notre Dame vs. Charlie Weis at Notre Dame. Sorry, but I don't think Weis did any incredible, bang up job at ND, yet he was able to languish there for several years; whereas ND gave Willingham the boot "quick, fast and in a hurry." It's just the nature of the beast I guess.

Hmmm, me thinketh that the Seahawks came to play today. I'm not at a place (home or bar) to watch the game right now, so I've been missing it 😢 but I have been getting the scores updated and it looks like neither teams defenses came to play, but it does appear that the Seahawks Offense did. It's still early in the 3rd Q and anything can happen, but with that being said, all the pundits who've been talking ish all week about Coach Carroll, may have to eat a bit o' crow. I'm not saying that I believe that (should they pull this out) they have are going to the SB...but I'm sure NOBODY would imagine their 7-9 record would have them even this far. As they say ... "Any given Sunday," although, this is Saturday! LOL!

I feel the EXACT SAME WAY!! It's like that expression, "No good deed goes unpunished!" I swear that sometimes the better you try to be and live your life, the more b.s. that comes around. BUT, the people who don't give two s@#ts about anyone but their sorry a $ $ selves, and screwing over others...etc, etc, (seemingly) get every damn thing almost handed to them.
