Buying a Tarot Deck

Hi!

I have a question in regards to buying a tarot deck. I've been looking around online for the prices of tarot decks here in my country, and boy are they quite expensive. 😢

But I saw this in an online store for like $ 15 only:

But I wonder if there would be differences in transferring my energy to this set of deck to an original tarot deck?

Energy transfer should be fine.

Just perform a cleansing ritual on your new deck and then shuffle-look at the cards, get familiar with this new deck, meditate on it while shuffling and energy transfer should be good.

Buy a silk scarf....a colour that you find works for you, wrap the cards up and sleep with the deck for two weeks under your pillow before handling them

After the two weeks, handle them for a few days before doing your first reading

I think wrapping the deck with silk is do-able for me but sleeping with the deck is rather too much for my taste. Do we have other options?

Idk, it's just uhh.. maybe i take tarot cards just lightly, I guess. I mean, i dont hv special cases for them, nor special places lol its just me but i do sometimes enjoy just looking at them the art and whatnot and perhaps maybe the meanings behind them can give me inspirations.

I wouldn't take them lightly at all tbh, the guidance in them can be life changing

But i guess we all use them for different things

But where is the guidance from? That's what I have been wondering about.

And from contemplating to find the answer to that, I have started to believe that we are the mediums and the cards are the projectors. And so that leaves, it just happens that you work better with tarot cards as the projectors of the energies you receive.

I have a lenormand deck as well. I bought it because I just love the illustrations. I thought it would work well or maybe it does. But It's just the meanings of the cards are too compacted to my taste, so it doesn't work for me. Plus the cards are fewer than tarot.

How is your experience with Oracles? I haven't tried them.

Edit: I forgot to mention, i did get a reading from you once via pm. Do you remember? I still do. And guess what. They're on point.

It's just me being inconsiderate that I didn't come back to you and share what I have found.

Guidance for me is from my higher self.....can't speak for others

Glad the reading helped and yes I do remember doing it

I love oracles and use them more than tarot these days......very easy to read

But how can one know that they are able to connect to their higher self? And what if I can't connect to it, does it mean that using a tarot deck for myself would only be a waste?

Though I just recently got interested in astrology and tarot reading, so I'm eager to learn more about it.
