My luck is no good with the ones i want, yet I've been told many times that I am smart, beautiful & fun. Someone told me my problem is maybe that I am too independant. Some guys want to feel like I NEED them. Not sure if I can pull off the pathetic role. Is anyone just looking for ME?!!! 😉

Hello, Independence is a tool not a liability, and many people appreciate a mate with independence. As for "need", well, the fact that you wrote this post shows that you do have a "need" someone in your life, no? Is it really pathetic to need companionship?

I didn't mean this as a dating ad. Just wanted opinions on the independance thing i guess. I am happy - single or with someone, as i have close friends & family. But of course people that are single & independant must pause and reflect on who they are. It never hurts to grow. Or is that pathetic?

Ok, could have been the wording of your post. But in response-- I wasn't looking at your post as a dating ad- or else I would said, "I like independent chicks, are you free sat night?"

I don't agree that independence is a "problem"-- rather, it's a good thing. Dating and finding the right person is just a daunting,difficult task. Any attribute that we consider one of our "positive" traits, shouldn't be targeted as reason for not finding a companion.

No, it's not pathetic.. not in my mind- but what matters is what's in yours? But if the goal is to reflect.. grow.. why question your positive traits? Why question in repect to what other people want-- if this is your growth? (Some guys want to feel like I NEED them) —
