I used to go four wheeling on sand trails, one time when I was driving, I came upon an L shaped curve - out of nowhere. In front of us stood an electrical fence housing horses, there were trees to my left and the turn was a sharp right.. I knew I had to make a choice, at that speed a turn was not an option without rolling so I slammed on the breaks and headed towards the electrical fence. My rider behind me through his arms up catching the wire fence. I had a line across my throat but had he not have done this I could have been decapitated. We freed horses that day but I'm pretty sure he saved my life.
