Everytime I read about taurus traits, being materialistics is always one of them. Can someone explain what kind of materialistic are we talking about here?

I'm currently in a relationship with taurus guy. I'm not that attractive enough to make a guy like him fallen for me so deeply and quickly but I came from a really wealthy family and he knew it.

I know this is awful of me to think this way but is it possible that he date me because he has motives behind it or am I just overthink things all over again?

Are you going simply off of what you've read about Taurus, or is there something that's really making you wonder or feel this way?

Like what brought about the question? And what's the order? Something said or done? Or did you just decide to read about his sign and saw that they can be materialistic?

From what I know they can have high standards when choosing a partner, both the men and women.

You'll have to explain a bit more about his general behaviour hun, if your at all worried about his intentions?

As long as your making the best of your appearance and loving all the attractive bits about yourself and your personality (I bet you don't see them like he does) then I don't see why you are questioning your attractiveness, we all see different things in different people no matter what sign we are.

My brothers first wife when he was young was quite physically attractive and since their divorce hes been with someone totally different to her for 30 years and they're very happy, she is lovely but not what you would call super hot or anything, but it goes to show that their connection works x Hes a Taurus btw .

First of all, he asked about my family's fortune few times and that kind of bothers me. He sometimes joke about how he knew he's not born to be poor.

Last time we went on vacation abroad, I paid for 3/4 of it. When we were there, he did bring some money with him and we spent on it generously in the beginning for like two days, the rest everything was on me. I didn't mind that tbh since I never really cared about material things and I have always been royal to people I'm closed to. It was all good until that time I mentioned to him how we spent loads of money for unnecessary stuffs.

I said that to him not to complain or anything at all. I was just saying it. But he got too sensitive accusing me of being petty about the money and whatnot, told me "you really that afraid I will used up your money, aren't you?" This led to pretty huge argument but somehow he managed to talked me out of it.

I was confused, that thoughts never occurred to me at first but because of him acting that way.. that got me thinking.

All that aside though, he's very very nice to me, really understanding about every other aspect of my life, treat me far better than any other people I have dated, and all of those boyfriend materials I have always wanted. So I'm not really sure.

It does kind of sketchy for me.. should I be careful about this?

Dont feel this way. We aren't superficial. Materialistic means we like tangible comfort. Soft materials, heavy furniture, durability, stability, high quality.

As far as looks, we also like solid countenance, stable good looks, not someone who follows every trend and fad.

I only know female Taureans so idk if they differ from the men. But from what I know they do like highend name brand things. However just because the item is name brand doesn't mean it was expensive. They are bargain shoppers and shop Macy's clearance rack, outlet malls, Marshall's, discount stores that sell authentic name brand for cheap etc before paying full price for something (not saying they wouldn't pay full price but it has to be something they really want and can't find at a cheaper price.) And because they prefer things on the higher end to some people it's considerd to be materialistic. They do however have people that spends generously on them and they do spend on others as well, but they won't use a person for material things, they are very self sufficient and usually can afford things for themselves, but at the same time they won't date someone that can't provide for them financially. Financial stability is security to them, however I don't think that's just a Taurus thing I think that's an earth sign thing in general. But out of the earth signs Taurus aren't the ones that will use you for monetary gain, they do give just as much as they take.

Taurus can really lay it on with $ in mind .. they start to stumble eventually though and you see through it I'm sure you know the truth in your gut/intuition

Even if he works hard it doesn't really change anything that comment tells you everything you need to know

Start penny pinching saying you put all your money in a term deposit as you feel like you spend too much or from financial advisors or something so you have nothing to spare to spend on him or pay for him and see what sort of comments he starts making or how he acts

Realistically it's not going to work from here if you pay for things out of balance it's already making you uncomfortable and will now get worse from here now you feel uneasy about it

And I'm sure coming from a wealthy family the last thing you would even want to talk about is money in reality

Materialism, I find, is not all that likely to be a materialism for riches. I'm very materialistic, but in the sense that I love owning things that bring me comfort or surround me in beauty. It could be a $ 3 fleece blanket or a $ 5 candle holder that I think is beautiful. Taureans do love stability, so it's possible that your family money brings him comfort for the future, but I doubt he's dating you for it. Taureans are really good at creating their own wealth and we usually like earning and paying for our own material things ourselves. It brings us pride. Of course no two taureans are alike, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just go with the flow.

hahaha see this is just funny maybe he's casually joking and since you read "materialistic" everywhere it's impacting you. keep your eyes open if the you spending all time trend continues then put your foot down or decide if you really want to deal with a cheap prick. money can buy you some hotties so you can atleast afford to choose the man you buy lol 😄 good luck

First thing that comes to my mind ... a lot of objects of all sorts. I was with this Taurus man for a long time and his house was filled to the top wih all sorts of ... Idek how to call them, usefull and non usefull thingies that he liked to show off and was proud of. He never had any use from them but just likes to have it, HE NEEDS to have that thing there because reasons. Also he was kind of posh so he always liked having nice things and such. (I know I used the word things too many times but >_> )

It also gave me a feeling he just needs those objects there to feel "complete" , otherwise if they can't be utilized they just lay there and he only ever picks them up to show them to people. He likes having things.
