oh, you sound like my grandad 😛 leave us alone! some police are cool...others are big massive twats 🙂

I already stated that instead of those terribly uncouth blanket terms tskety tsk, that's like saying all water signs are crybabies who are rubbish liars (even though they are 😛)
I think your Grandad must without question be possessed by awesome, there is no doubt about that 🙂🙂

It's terrific honestly. My mother and her husband lived on a farm for over 20 years. Nothing like it in the world. It's quite a toss up for me which is the more peaceful of the two at absolute soul level. By the waters side ( or in it ) or deep in the country with the smells of hay, fresh air, wood smoke and sunshine in me. Woods nearby a plus. How I adore walks in the forest.

I was a bit worried I'd stick out like a sore thumb in England. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not, quite the reverse. I was embraced fully, urged to stay. I was very moved when one of my mates pub cronies ( man in his late 70s ) stood up, raised his glass and said "On behalf of all of us, I would like to say you are a damned fine woman." *smiling* I was also offered two cooks positions by older gents.

Big cities make me nervous, I'll admit it. 🙂 Yes, and walks in the forest there..it was wonderful. You can feel everything thrum and pulse around you. Not shocked by it, but was surprised I didn't have a neon sign on my forehead that said "Septic". 🙂 In Westminster I had to laugh, there was a gaggle of women, obviously tourists. The white trainers, large sweatshirts and jeans. I looked at my mate with peals of laughter and said "You're right!" He smiled into his pint.

hahaha! yeah, we love picking out the tourists. they always look so overwhelmed and optimistically dressed LMAO.

plus, they haven't learnt the london 'elbowing-people-out-of-your-way' ettiquette yet, so they sort of cling to the centres of the pavements and it's really cute 😄

yes! there is a definite 'thrum and pulse' in cities, almost as if everyone is marching to some unconscious beat?

Definitely! Everyone moved so quickly. He would point things out to me like the cut of a gentlemans suit that was fine, the buildings. I was absolutely floored by cost of living. ??250,000 for a flat?? What the ?! Parking. Everyone ramped up onto the sidewalks and so on. I loved it there. It felt like home. And I didn't even go that far outside of home base that week. Outside of one of the pubs a woman stumbled up to me and said "I'm not e'en gonna lie, I'd like a quid for a can of cider." I smiled and said "The man in the stripey jumper, he's the quid holder." And off she sailed.
