Depends on each person, but I would say about 1 to 3 months. Since studies showed that it takes 30 seconds for you to make a first impression on someone. And 30 days to change it. And it takes about 3 months for someone to feel differently, or smoother about something that impacted them deeply.

I have a Venus in Aries/Gemini Moon.
I don't move fast in the beginning nor do I chase, but I do tend to get infatuated with the 'idea' of the individual in the beginning.
When this euphoric feeling isn't accompanied with a solid foundation, or slow gradual courtship, then the emotions will quickly fizzle out for me....
And then I'm convinced the grass is greener on the other side, or there is a much better possibility for me out there.

In the past, I was convinced I had committment issues or was probably a bit too discriminating, God honest truth!
Then I realized I am very much a traditional woman, and love to be courted, love to take things slow, and love to be able to get to know my partner at a gradual pace.

This type of love doesn't burn out, just burns slowly, it's really a beautiful process. When the fire is out, because there is a solid foundation, you will always have the option to light that match all over again.

After all Bulls are Venusian signs. 😉

It is pretty confusing to me.. I can't tell if it's infatuation or love until it dies.

Yeah infatuation happens all the time..butterfly feeling in the stomach.. now I heard there are positive butterfly feelings or negative butterfly feelings in our sensitive stomachs..

It's the physical attraction that will tell me oh I should get to know you more. I guess the Venus in Taurus blindsides me..once the infactuation I have actually leaves, kinda snowballs afterwards. I thought I loved at one point, but maybe it was infatuation the whole time between us. And nothing ever solid.

At this stage of my life, I can't really tell lol. But I know I don't let myself get fooled by charm whether by their looks, actions or sweet-talking. I tend to be critical of a person's personality, if they do one wrong thing in the beginning of "getting-to-know" them, I don't overlook it, and I wait and learn more about them to see if it's a trait in their character or just a silly mistake they said or done. 😛

my infatuation goes within 3 months maximum. It goes fast if not communicating or even just when communicating and the other person wants a relationship.

BUT love.. the thing is.. love will never fade. Sorry for this but people who stop loving someone didnt love them at the first place, they were in love but they didnt love them. Thats what life has teached me so far. Even when things are hard, 2 people who love eachother, will overcome bad times because they cannot live without eachother. Even when apart, your heart aches and longes for him, even when you saw your love minutes ago. When being together, even just hearing their breathing is enough for weeks not seeing... You are communicating through your thoughts, you can feel their presence even when not beside you.
I see love as love, not a relationship. You can love someone so deeply that it makes a union, not this basic point to point relationship like everyone else follows. You can be 2 free spirits, having even their own homes and still loving the other half more deeply than people who are living together. I think that some distance is needed because the intensity of the love is sometimes so strong. You want the best for him/her; you make decisions 50-50 because like i said, its an union, you cannot put someone the first because the both of you are the one, the higher throne. 1+1. I think the real love is soul level... connection, telepathy, cannot-live-without-eachother. You can never think that this person cannot be in your life, you cannot describe your life without him, even when the two of you cannot be together in some strange reason (maybe one side runs because the intensity of the love, it happens though) but eventually they will come together.

Mind I say, I have Venus in Gemini.. and when i am infatuated by someone, i switch on and off within seconds but when in deeply love, there is no off button. Forever on and on.. to the end.

This is true.

Taurus chase the people we love that's the only difference. We try harder with people we love because we see a chance in a relationship with that person. We try with people were infatuated with but if they don't want us, we don't run after things that have never had hard feelings for us because we don't see the point in wasting our Tim.
