Taurus are not boring!!

Hey,

I want to take up the cudgels fpr us Taurus people. MAny say, we are boring, because we dont go out everyday to events. I punked out my aries gf because she keeps telling that.

1. We are passive consumers of the good things in life. That means we have interests such as music, culture, food etc so we have a lot to say and we have a lot of knowledge. But that means we dont go out very often, our senses take everything in. If you would bother to ask us a little bit about that, you d find out, we cantalk all day long. We are not like the fire signs, doing sports then many hobbys, then going to events etc.

2. Today`s Societys "Need" for selfimprovement and perfectionism. The woman know what I am talking about.

In the times of Burn out, evey have everybody wants be like james bond. Have a great job, a great body, then do volunteer work, then be a perfect mum etc. Us Taurus are less likely to fall in to that trap. Study the ancient greeks, stoicism etc. They have all been taurus people. We enjoy the moment and we are okay with not being perfect. In this times, this is a huge accomplishment.

3. Yes, some of us are sheeps, beer, tv show are the only thing we need. But that speaks for point 2. We can be happy with very little.



So guys and gals, please think twice before you call us boring again. There is a thing or two you can learn from us.

Oh you got an Aries girl friend? How do you like it?

My experience with every Taurus is that they are pretty mundane, except for my redneck brother-in-law, who has a lot of crazy stories to tell.

My point is, because we consume instead of doing our life is more taking place in our minds than in the real world, that doesnt mean we are spiritual, having an aries gf is fun and challenging at the same time. Its a constant struggle, when she wants to take over and I just plain refuse it even when I have to walk out on her or throw her out. Strange that she is still around.

Maybe she likes the fighting but doesnt really want to be the boss. I like her childish innocent side, we laugh a lot. Thats why we have always children around us, which is a blessing. Even more laughter.

drama? I thought its normal, that aries woman cause fights, because they have quite a temper, and they have a strong masculine side, therefore want to lead. What do you say aries women?

All the tauruses I've known had amazing or comfortable homes or spaces (self included) that makes you not want to leave. I (we) put a lot of time and effort into our living spaces, and our reward is to enjoy it.

This is so true! My apartment has become the go-to hang out spot for most of my friends (not that I mind) simply because it's homey and inviting. No one ever wants to leave! I take pride in that 😄

Guys, please post pictures of rooms you think are homey, I am curious.

By tha way, that impression " to take up the cudgels", do english speaking people actually use that impression?

I searched for an english counter part for the german "eine Lanze brechen für" (to break a lance for). Which impression would you use? I want to improve my english.

I personally don't think there are any boring signs generally speaking, but that there are boring people in all signs. I've met some boring people in all forms, regardless of sign.

We are often gaining knowledge or trying to discover a new hobby, I feel. I recently got into puzzles. I spent saturday night working on a puzzle. It is rather boring. But that's ok, I had fun.

The biggest problem with most Taureans is their total lack of common sense when it comes to right and wrong.

They tend to believe that trash and treasure are the same thing, when they hardly ever are.

It is this total lack of sensory acuity and insight that makes them irritating to deal with.

you can leave it at that but I have a right to respond to whatever is said in whatever way I want - you may be the @OP of this thread but I have a right to make a statement of my opinion any time and anywhere I choose - it was a general statement, not even directed at you, and you seem to be taking it personally - my comment had absolutely nothing to do with you at all - no, let's understand this together, not leave it at your take on the matter because there are 2 sides to this

It's not that you lot are boring, but rather sometimes your ideas of fun often don't match up with other people's ideas of a good time. Either way, Taureans can be just as fun-loving as any other sign, and the passive nature of bulls often gives them a great sense of humor.

I've had a lot of fun with bulls. Depending on other placements bulls can bring some interesting things to the table. A lot of you love to shop, sleep in, eat good grub, and when not doing those things the gaps are filled in with long fvck sessions, and that is a-ok with me!

No no, its Sir, Mister Ho, Sir.

My TG had me fooled for a while when we first started talking... he's a very 'earthy' guy so he's very laid back, pretty quiet, pretty focused with his job (architect work).

But then as I got to know him, he was in a band (played keyboard and guitar),

Goes traveling with friends and been almost everywhere already,

likes to play sports,

LOVES music and likes to go to concerts..

but he also has that relaxed, laid back vibe that makes you feel so comfortable and secure to be around.

actually, i know a few Taurus friends who have the same vibe.

Its like the perfect combination that you would want in a person. Not too crazy, but not boring.
