Taurus Ex is confusingme

Hi all, me and my ex Taurus guy have split for 5 weeks (he broke it off with me)but he still texts me calls me his baby. He invited me to a family function 3weeks after the break up and then we went to the movies a week after that (we hold hands, hug kisses, public affection etc as if we never broke up) he will ask me if im busy as to see if I have plans. BUT Then sometimes he will pull away or make plans for us to meet and then change his mind. we dont call each other too much but we text daily. What IS UP?? can anyone help? He says he doesnt waant to be in a relationship (after we were together for almost 1year)

Thanks for your response....I guess I'm still hanging on hoping that we can work things out since I read somewhere that once a Taurus is done..they are done. And since he is still around its a positive sign. No we are not having sex...he always pick me up and drops me off....its like we are at the begining of dating all over again. He felt we moved too fast

Funny thing happened last nite, months ago I had warned him about an enployee of his. And he never listened, and we would have disagreements about this individual. Well, this same employee has almost ruined his business and everything he has workd for. Do you know who he come callin.....yes me. APOLOGIZED BIG TIME "i need to be around ppl i know has my back" "im sorry plz forgive me, it was my ego to not listen to you and think that they would never cross me" came to my house and apologized again...told me to"not get upset with about the situation, cause if im upset who will keep him grounded and calm" put it on thick
Even asked me if i wanted a kitten (cause we are having a little mouse problem, now that the weather is getting cold). Im his friend and I know love is there...I hold on because I knew things were going sour with his business and he really cant focus on too much else...that business is his lively hood, bread and butter.

I guess he is still on facebook, i only know of the female poking him once. But who knows, the point was he lied about it....since then he has sincerely apologized for that some time ago.

Im taking it slow and guarding my feelings....and being a good friend. Remember he always thought we moved tooooo fast in the begining
