So I am flirting with a beautiful woman who contantly says she is old. She is only 48! What do I say to her? Do I ignore it or say something smart back...just don't know how to respond -

There's nothing you can really say to that. If she is saying she is old it is cuz she feels that way and nothing can really change that.

Either that or she is just like... look, Junior, this isn't gonna go anywhere cuz if I do fall for you, you're gonna go for someone young like you some day, so I don't want to bother.

Haha well we are friends first and foremost but gosh, I am crazy about her. I hate the assumption that just because I am younger, I don't know what I want and I wouldn't be happy with her. Age isn't anything!

I'd guess she's looking for reassurance from you that's she's physically attractive to you. You seem to like her and find her attractive so let her know that you feel that way and she'll probably stop and just enjoy you.

So if you want kids you both can't have them together as a couple should. That's the down fall.

2. She could find another young guy not just you since she already has been through all kinds of life situations.

3. She is definitely more experienced than you so you must have a job, your own place, your own shit to do and not always hang to the hip.

4. Lust and infatuation phase is killer temptation. If she is married though then you can see that as a red flag too and therefore should not be involved.

Age is just a number to you OP, that doesn't mean everyone feels the same way. I'm a Taurus female, late 30's. I have younger guys hit on me all the time and they have zero chance. I'm not at all interested in younger men. She's probably saying she's old meaning she's too old for you. She could have kids your age. Ask her if she has a daughter lol

Like someone mentioned, she wants reassurance. if you really dig her then give her reassurance. Let her know your crazy about her age and all.

For me yeah the person must be five years younger or older that's it. Unless proven you want kids or not, the marriage for life thing too compromising is s9mewhat difficult now.

I don't really like anyone younger than me as a taurus. Younger guys seem to like me all the time but I'm into older guys. You know, its all about stability for taurus peeps like me. So you have to have the qualitifications. 😉

She seems to be lacking confidence. Or maybe you are the reason she feels that way. I mean, 20 years younger, c'mon... Any woman would be self-conscious with a man who's young enough to be her son.
If you really are crazy about her, keep reassuring her that age is totally irrelevant for you. Compliment her, she obviously needs it.

No but taurus aren't stupid and age is important sometimes to bulls and cows.

See people may begin to differ with people about age. Some ages need to be checked out though. Like I really care about age, maturity, relationship status, and stability whole heartedly. But just because my age group of men I do meet are my age. Some aren't on the same path as the other. It has to be the right moment. Taurus can tell and will be there in the nick of time.

it went like this - we connected online, talked on the phone, that night he called me and asked me why I didn't send him a note on the site because he just saw that I was looking at him and I told him it was because I was out of his preferred age range of women - he is 5 years younger. I told him I thought he wouldn't be interested being that I was older but that I couldn't stop looking at his pictures - he said he didn't care ... told me "don't be 57' "put your jeans on, get in the car, and come see me" ...

it's a year later and we just celebrated a year with no arguments ... works for us!
