Taurus/Libra dating experiences anyone?

I have dated 2 Libras in my life. Both were "loves of my life", never felt that kind of chemistry before or since. Trying to figure out why I can't seem to stay away from them. Anything in my chart? Also, what was your Taurus/Libra experience like, should we just stay away from them??

Sun - Taurus
Moon - Sag
Venus - Taurus
Mars - Aries
Asc - Libra

I had a huge, EMBARRASSING crush on a Libra once.lol It was an undeniable infatuation. I didn't even really respect him as a person, but still I couldn't stay away. I look back now and shake my head in shame.lol I have no idea what I saw him. He wasn't a bad guy. I just can't believe I fell so hard for someone with such a weak, wishy washy character. I haven't liked a Libra since. I consider that brief infatuation a strange fluke.lol

Maybe it's the venus ruling planet connection? or all the fire in your chart...oh and most def. your rising. Also it could be something in his chart...the Libra guy I crushed on has a Virgo venus and I love me some Virgos.

I have very similar placements Sun/Venus in Taurus and Asc in Libra and I am ridiculously drawn to a Libra woman. I probably will never be with her. But I have never felt that magnetic feel before. I was a fool in love before but never felt this magnetism.

@RoseTheTaurus, I get that entirely. They do have an inconstancy about them that irks my stable Taurus soul, and they are frustratingly indecisive. The ones I've loved both had a Venus in Scorpio. One of them had a Cancer Moon and a Mars in Capricorn so maybe I was attracted more to the inner sensitivity. Either way, I went back numerous times even after it was clear the relationship wasn't going anywhere. You have a thing for Virgos? I was cured of mine after a 6 year relationship with one. How did you deal with the lack of affection and the "fixing"?

@hartnetj - it's crazy how much chemistry there is - moth meet flame. I guess I have to blame all the venus in my chart. How do you find your Libra rising affects you?

@fingirl The water and earth in those Libras' charts, plus your own air and fire..definitely starts painting a clearer picture.

What was the Virgo's chart? The Virgo I was in a relationship with, is very watery. He has a Scorpio venus and mars. He was incredibly affectionate and possessive. The "fixing" has got to be the critical nature Virgos are famous for, right?lol I'm sure that set your Aries mars ablaze...I didn't mind the criticisms that much. They were mostly spot on and I could tell they were coming from a good place. But hell, no one wants to be criticized. Criticize a Virgo and watch how sensitive they become.lol

Placements on both charts really do matter. Fire-y Taurus' probably aren't going to be attracted to the sun signs they're supposed to be compatible with. One of my best friends is a Taurus with a leo moon. She dated a Virgo with a Virgo moon. Man talk about fucking drama. She is now happily dating a Leo with a Virgo moon....

I mentioned this scenario before in the threads before...but I didn't say it was a LIBRA that did this to me.
A Libra stood me up on a date.. Met him online. We talked a few times on the phone agreed to meet and we set up a date.
I arrived at the restaurant, I was seated and everything (mind you, for a party of "2").. I called him, SEVERAL times, and left a message, to check if he was ok. I wasn't sure if anything happened to him on the way there. He NEVER picked up his phone..So instead of storming off and out of the restaurant, I decided to stay, to have a SOLO "gastronomical experience"..I ordered a glass of wine..appetizer..THEN entree..The House manager of the restaurant, walked by my table & noticed my OTHER party hasn't arrived and asked me "What happened?" -I told him...- then BOOM! He COMPT'd my ENTIRE meal (drinks incl'd) and he threw in a dessert (of MY choice)..he then introduced me to the handsome Italian chef who prepared my meal that night, I complimented him on a job well done. He then gave me his card with his number, with a promise to NEVER stand me up, IF given the privilege to go out with me.

SOooo, I got home, after one HELL Of a night...that LOSER Libra FINALLY called me back "to explain".

Want to know his excuse was?? -He fell asleep.

yep. Went out with libra for 8 months. We were close friends for 7 years before that and still remained friends after. Learned what love meant to me with him. I'm a Libra asc such as yourself.

@fingirl I read up on Libra Asc and I guess I agree. It seems right I guess. I'm just very in tune to Sun/Venus Taurus and Leo Moon. My Venus is very strong as relationships and love and how I envision love is very important to me.

@RoseTheTaurus: Yeah, the Virgo I dated I would have to go and figure out his planets again. Can't remember! I will tell you about one experience I had that I will never forget. We were standing in the shower together after a day at the beach, and he put his hands on my waist and said your body would be perfect if you could just "lose" this. At the time, I didn't have a belly, just a bit of "love handle" geesh, I was a size 4/6 and 5'7" but he gave me serious self esteem issues. He was obsessed with my weight and watched it hawkishly. He also let me spill all my most intimate secrets and knew a lot about my inner pain over some deep seated family issues with infidelity. I discovered after we broke up that he had gone through the same thing - after we broke up !!!...six years later!!! He could not say "geez babe, I went through the same thing", because I think he wanted his childhood to appear as if it had been perfect. We broke up because I cheated..not proud of that at all and I don't know how I could have done it, aren't we Taurus' the most loyal signs around? I find that I will give my all to a relationship but I will get "distracted" if I feel like it isn't going anywhere.

@TaurusBelle: I laughed out loud at your story, what a jerk! The only time I have ever been stood up was by a Scorpio! We had one date and then he called me to say he wanted to see me again and then I never heard from him again. A few months later I ran into him and his new wife! They must have been on a "break" or something when we went on that date. Glad to see the experience drove him back in her arms. I must be the woman "Good Luck Chuck"!

@Torro: You're right. I have never felt so loved and happy as when I'm in a relationship with Libra. All the fantasies you have about romance, intimacy and affection - all there. The problem I have with Leebs is that they are sometimes emotionally dishonest and that is difficult for me because I'm so damn forthright. I say what I mean and mean what I say, no subterfuge.

i can add to the ridiculously rude experiences...my Libra ex still didnt know what tattoo I had on my back months into the relationship, once he picked up a call in the middle of foreplay and expected to resume, loool as if! he showed me texts from his 'friend' to show that they had a brother sister relationship...i scroll up the screen and she's telling him she loves him. Never admitted he was wrong, ever...arguments took days, there was no emotional depth...oh yeah once he planned out a whole candle lit dinner..before I got there, his female friend said she was in the neighbourhood and they enjoyed the wine and food 'waiting for me', he has no regard for family bonds and expects you to drop them for him....it was all in all a NIGHTMARE. Hes an amazing friend though and sex was good.

I dated a taurus we got along very well . sex was good conversation was good we both got along well Only problem she wanted to party more then me and I wanted to settle down somewhat . I didnt want to drink and socilaize every weekend so I called it quits. Today to see her , shes turned out to be quite the alcoholic.. and Me well I,m still single.

My pareting days are long gone Now I,m not saying I cann't keep up I can but it's not my thing and hasn't been for a long time ,way more to life then drinking and getting stoned all the time

I was almost 25 when I stopped smoking drugs and doing any drugs of any kind and I was 29 or 30 when I severly cut down on my drinking.. Hey I still drink and sometimes I still drink too much, but today it's more by accident or possible by choice at times if I,m having a good time and socilaizing with people I like and I'm not driving.
