Communication betwix Libra and Taurus

This is how me and my Taurus brother's conversation used to go:

Taurus on the computer, obviously playing a game.
Libra walks past.

Libra: "What are you playing?"
Taurus: "The computer"
Libra: "DUH!"

Libra tries again
Libra: "I meant what game"
Taurus: "OHHhh" (still engrossed) "Computer game"

*desk face*

Libra: "I meant the name of the game"
Tuaurs: "OHHHHHHHHHhh"

Again.
Libra: "What are you typing"
Taurus: "I'm typing the keyboard"
Libra: LOL!!!!

I'd have just moved back away from the screen and raised an eyebrow. So you could indeed see what I was playing. If you continued to interrupt my concentration I'd ask if you wanted to talk or were you just bored.

Yes that's how it is. Taurus gives me a mental block.

Taurus brains are wired differently. They take things literally.

Perhaps because you're siblings. ( Unless you mean all Taus you've come into contact with to date ). Funnily enough I've never felt mentally blocked around Libras. As a matter of fact I've a Libra friend I can take anything too, and we talk and talk and talk ( and talk ) and it's never tiresome. Always humorous and warm. Well met.
Another dear lady with very similar viewpoints, intelligent and kind. One of the girls I waitress with, she's a doll baby and we laugh quite a bit. So I can truly say zero blockage around Libra for me.
My daughters half brother, he's like a son to me. Terrific lad ( he's 19, will be 20 in October ).
And yes, even the Libras here. I could flash names and point each one out, but I don't find it necessary. Funny, funny. And I really do like to laugh and clown about. 🙂

I liek my Taurus neighbour, though. She is a quintessential nice lady. So nice that I felt ashamed being a Libra. But one time she called and I didnt pick up the phone, and she was fuming at my door. I mean, I have the right not to answer the phone, right? 😛

But yeah, I do like Taurus. My bro interprets things very literally, though. 😛

But you gotta admit: Taurus-Libra have lapses in communication that can go awry. I worked with a bull lady in a project - and didn't know what she was thinking 3/4 the time. She can u-turn and turn zigzaggedly all in a moments notice.

LOL Of course you don't have to answer your phone. Caller ID is a beautiful thing. I especially don't answer when it's work on my day off. 😉

Air and Earth, but honestly lags in convo can occur between two people at any given point. For me personally when I'm locked down in thought ( with a project of some sort..taking that scenario and running with it ) my brain is zipping along at around 120 mph. Rapidly settling on something, discarding it, moving on mentally to the next. Breaking down and pinpointing problematic areas, ways to get round them, blast through them, etc. So it wouldn't surprise that she seems to veer off.

Yeah but she doesn't communicate to me. She just does things her way and usually it's a different idea from mine. Totally cross purposing. It's either scrap hers or mine, gwim? Difficult. But at the end of the day, I know she means no harm. I just don't know Taureans all that well at all, tbh.

I think she must have some Capricorn. She said people ask her why she always looks stern.

Ok, I know another Taurus lady - they have the kindest hearts.

Hmmm, see now that's a bit different from me. I'm more of a team player in work environ. I will go in with guns blazing, fill in where I'm needed. Yes I'll take charge of something but it's with full intent to smooth choppy waters. i.e. if the window is packed full and girls are running about I'll start slinging food or running it out, barking orders. Or pick up, dry stock, clean, etc. Seat people, get drinks, run register. Whatever needs done. But I don't leave anyone out in the wind, it's just harnessing all that wild energy and making sense of it. Channeling it so things run like a well oiled machine.
If I was involved in a project with someone I'd want full input, and back and forth. I'd say "Spica, this is what I was thinking about, what do you make of it?" Team effort. I do see what you're saying though. 🙂

There are 2 types of Taurus, I think. The Venusian one with luv to all, and the one who are the controllers. I have seen the first type before - they're pure sweetness. One of my lil kiddos was a taurus. And my neighbour would grab my arm akimbo to talk to me as we walk down the street. Yes, so sweet.

And yes, you definitely have it all - you're like the 'Mother Earth' type 😄. Now how did you manage to take care of everyone??

😄 Thanks. I love it quite honestly. When I ran daycare in my home I liked nothing better than to have a house teeming with laughter, noise and fun. Yes it was stressful at times, but I'd be dishonest if I said I didn't enjoy every moment. Those children were just as much mine as they were their parents. The same principal in effect. Ahhahaha, it really can be just like that, a group of grown children running round. And it just takes a hand pat on the bum to sort things out, set them to rights. Just a bit of a shake up and really get everyone to focus on task at hand. We're all here to do our job and do it well; so let's get over this madness, enjoy the lull, and get stuck in again.

And I think you have something in general against Aries itself. Truly such a generalization. I cannot deny my chart, it is exactly as it should be. The stars were just so at the moment of my birth. A part of me most definitely embraced. I do not look down on nor poo-poo any of these pieces of self. Not my Pisces, my Libra, my Virgo, my Sagittarius, nor my Aries. They make me who I am. One cannot isolate one sign and decry behavioral issues at the fore. That is the raising of me, my time spent on planet in play as well. That would make about as much sense as for me to decry you as a human being simply because you are Aquarius, or select one aspect of your chart and say I don't care for you based on that. That is silliness.
As to the real life situation you described, I have never gone out of my way to be rude to anyone. Not here, and not on the other side of this screen. My anger is neither out of control nor unreasonable. I call a situation and have done with it.
I made no effort on my part to say anything derogatory towards you until you made it plain that is what was being dished out. I called you on unfair behavior miss, nothing more. That is not sign dependent, that is my moral code. To defend and protect. Not because someone is weak, but because I am strong.

Topic at hand was absolutely irrelevant, you intentionally tried to besmirch the name of a man I think highly of. A friend.
That to me is uncalled for and I will react to it. I will not stand by idly and allow it. Ever.
That you followed me or would stumble upon me on a thread and call into question my morality, my essence and what I stand for as a human being because of your ire was completely unnecessary. That I will not stand for either, I will retaliate.
As to your mothers reaction I can but speculate. That she did not have all the information nor introduction necessary, or if she did she has her very own clear and concise reasons for not liking him. I cannot second guess nor introduce a properly formed opinion without all the necessary information.

One more thing; only two within a relationship know what truly went on. The rest is a one-sided introduction layered over with pain, personal perception and a certain disconnect. It is not for you to judge, nor I, nor anyone else for that matter. It is simply, what it is. You do the best you can with what you have at that time. I could lay out my personal opinions on my marriage and subsequent divorce and make 'guesses' at to his behavior, but he holds the Golden Ticket to all that. And your last sentence, not everything is about you miss. Trust in that. It's not about directly attacking you, or causing YOU personal pain just because things do not line up and go your way. It's called life. And it's at its optimum when lived.

Now on a different note, my sister is a taurus/aries cusp and I can't stand her sometimes..i've dated two taurus men, one was ridiculously self absorbed to the point that he'd use people to put himself up...the other is the most sweetest guy I know except when he's in a mood..than he's just a regular jerk..but overall they're pretty nice and sweet people.

My bro is born one day before VB - April 21 and he's Taurus through and through. Not very much Aries in him at all. Taurus is a stronger sign than Aries, so it will slow down any Aries energy considerably.

I find I CAN truly have a one sided convo...and not miss a beat, LOL...is this annoying to the bull? I get a lot of smiles and some grunts...wth does that mean? I guess it must not be too bad as he wants to see me..will call me up and say as much (friends only for now). But I often wonder if I am talking too much...
