OP I'm so sorry for the pain you're feeling. Losing a relationship you thought would be permanent is one of the most painful things.

he was a friend of mine and I was in a toxic relationship which lasted 4 years.
he would constantly tell me to leave; that he can make me happier.
so i finally did and told him i need to heal because i've been so hurt.
he was persistent about dating, so i gave in because he seemed so promising.
two years later he told me he doesn't see us together long term.
and i just feel so broken because i thought he would've treated me better knowing my past.
and now i lost the relationship, but also my closest friend.
he was a friend of mine and I was in a toxic relationship which lasted 4 years.

Taurus people very rarely find anyone attractive so when we do... It's like a bee to honey as good looks and beauty are soooooo important to us.
We are Venusian and spend a lot of time looking good, smelling good, eating well, being surrounded by beautiful things and beautiful people..

My ex partners have always been "model" handsome the dark brooding men that women fall for. Tall dark tanned Mediterraneans or tall blonde fit Scandinavians!

I can't speak for myself because I have a Sun in Taurus/Moon in Gemini....
I tend to value intelligence and structure above everything.
Good looks is great, but for me it's not mandatory.
However, I do know this Taurus guy who did settle for a woman who wasn't attractive at all, young-minded, a truck load of children with multiple baby daddies, and dumb as a bag of rocks.
His reason for pursuing it?
His self-esteem was at a ground zero, he put on massive weight since his twenties, and wasn't in a financial position to go after what he really wanted. He was collecting unemployment at the time.
Bulls can be self conscious about two things....our personal appearance and our finances.
But he did continue to converse with attractive women online, using his 'throwback photos' from his twenties.
