No. Both my parents are workaholics. I hardly saw them growing up. I do not need companionship but don't deny the importance of it either.

My dad was an alcoholic and drug addict beat my mom. I think for me it did the opposite...gave me commitment issues. I have never used men as a way to validate me. I always just found that love and confidence within myself. Now that I am older and the things from my childhood have been worked on/through I still don't use men for validation. I am dating now but it isn't for validation it is because I would like to be in a relationship and have the companionship of a nice normal strong independent man, who knows how to treat a lady. Maybe I am wrong but I think most of us Taurus women have to strong of a personality to let a man??s love validate who we are. Most of us already know who we are and dont need somebody else to cofirm it to us.
