Trying something new...

What are some tips for getting a Taurus to try something new??..My Taurus and I went out to dinner and it was like pulling teeth to get him to taste something he never tried before? He finally did and he said it tasted good..It appears that he doesn't like change unless he initiates it or its an idea he thinks of..

We went to dinner two weekends in a row and we went to the resturant.. Granted the place has great food and a nice ambiance, I just like a little variety..There are so many resturants that he has not gone to that I have been to before and would like to take him, but he plants his feet on my suggestions..He finds a way to nicely say that he would rather have, or lets go here..

I am afterall a cardnial sign and likes to lead too at times. When I suggest a place he says "Let's go here." Sure enough once we get there he orders food he has already had before. I just want him to be a little more open..I can't complain too much...At least he lets me have control of the remote..lol

We love our food & there is nothing worse then going out to dinner, ordering something we've never had before & then getting stuck with something that tastes like shit, especially when you could have had something you already know you like

If you want him to try different foods, try it at home, either prepare it yourself or bring home take out. That way if he doesn't like it, the fridge is just a couple steps away & he won't feel like he wasted his dinner experience on crappy food. If he likes it at home he'll be more willing to have it when you go out for dinner 🙂

Thanks CanTaur... Very good suggestion... The only problem is that most dine in, fancy resturants don't allow you to call and take out or pick up (wish they did)....IDK....

The last time I order food that never never tasted from a resturant that he'd never been too it was very well received....Although this resturant was both a dine in/take out place....I will just have to go out to eat there myself and bring some left overs so he can get a taste of them or something...

I am a food Cancer so I am a food connoissuer...lol....

Let's just say the few times I've tried new or random things when out at a restaurant... it sounded better on paper than when it was on my tongue...

Girl...I love this question!! And the answer I use is sooooooooo simple....

Give him a taste of yours. If you are wide open to new ideas and new tastes, share 🙂 Order something new. If it makes your tongue happy....use that fork to make his tongue happy too. I have had this same exact situation and that's how I handled it. Eventually, he said, you know I should always just get what you do. You order the best food. 😉

And don't forget to smile! 🙂 And make eye contact. Taurus men are some of my favorites in the whole wide world. I adore them!! Just remember they are bulls. Fill their tummy, rub their tummy and they will follow you home.
