USC - I never thought I'd root for the Raiders...
Why USC Fans Might Root for the Raiders
Some USC fans may root for the Raiders if it means seeing their rival Denver suffer a loss. Supporting the Raiders becomes a way to indirectly cheer against Denver, especially in competitive sports rivalries. This motivation is common among fans with strong team allegiances and rivalries in the NFL.
