Venus in Taurus

Dear Venusian friends,

What can you tell me about Taurus Venus, like how do you approach the flirting stage, or how is it the dating phase?

This would be more appropriate in the Astrology forum, as unless the person is a Taurus sun to begin with who also has their Venus in that sign, Venus in Taurus does not a Taurus make.

Slow like molasses from a very cold jar (which makes is even slower). I have a Taurus Sun and Taurus in Venus it a Leo moon. I will be shy until you say hello and then I will be friendly yet reserved. Then if I decide I like you as a friend the speed for friendship depends on how and where we met I will open up. To become BF/GF. That will take about a month mabe two after the first part takes place. How to flirt with a Taurus? Not that you asked. I would say just be very friendly to them and not pushy. They watch how you treat others so they can get a sense of how you will treat them. I hope that helps.

I am with wishbone on this. My sun and Venus are also in Taurus but I have a Virgo moon. I am quite picky to begin with and I tend to not even flirt/talk to a guy unless I've known him for a while or know something about his history. I have to make sure it will be worth my while, don't do random. But I am true to my feelings and would never hurt anyone by leading them on or flirting 'just bcuz'. And I def don't like games either.

i totally agree with some of the above statements:
-slow, steady and patient wins the race
-dont push unless you want to push me away
-dont come on super sexual bc while the physical is great, i appreciate the whole package more and i wont settle without the whole package
-flirting is easy, be friendly and make me laugh, and dont play games... I pride myself on being direct and respect others that are... And respect is also a big part... If i dont find you to be at least as strong an individual as i (think i) am, i wont respect you or keep interest
-i am picky also... You will know if im interested bc im generally acting very tough as a protective barrier especially with the opposite sex
-MAKE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH YOU and be sweet with me and im yours. Seriously, comfort for a bull has a lot to do with how we act...

I love this part!!! SOOOOO true.... I want a best friend AND lover in one package bc, when it comes down too it, I only want ONE package...
I had one boyfriend who detested what I came to refer as the "F" word...
FRIEND
he hated that I told him he was my BEST friend and that was like THE biggest compliment in the world I could give him bc it's synonymous with "I LOVE YOU" pretty much for me...
I'd never let on what a hopeless romantic I really am at heart, and my constant dream of finding that ONE person for me that I've had since I can remember... Though most can describe it as a painfully slow process lol
my deal is... just pay attention bc you'll be able to tell if I'm into you bc I'll start treating you a lot differently (usually a lot sweeter) than anyone else... I have a tough, protective front thats hard to break through but thank my Cancer ascendant for amplifying that! lol

With Venus in Taurus, I am actually ok with being "possessed" or "claimed" by someone bc I dont share well with others myself :-P especially mates... MONOGOMY is the only way for me...
When I feel comfortable enough to share my feelings, accept them for how genuine they really are... when someone minimizes my feelings or straight negates them as insincere, I get VERY hurt and generally pull away...

This Venus Taurus guy is really nice, I'm afraid he may be saying "back off" with a silent treatment, so I'm respecting it and haven't contacted him yet. Seems so weird though, we have been chatting everyday for a month now and everything was good!

Don't jump to the conclusion that his silence has to do with you...
Ive talked to other Taureans who admit to needing alone time frequently like myself to recharge... Some find it aloof but when we are "all better", we go right back...
He may just be taking his cautious time too, trying not to get too close too fast, which I could relate to...
Unless he tells you it's about you, try not to assume...
I find a lot of Taureans to be direct like me and to like the same in return...

Leoeve it looks like you have a lot of Leo in your Sun/Venus/Mars/Merc. I actually discovered I really like listening to leos talk. They seem to be able to talk about anything which is great since I can be quite. Yet when I do want to talk I don't get mowed over by some over bearing person (Sag/Aries from my experience). I dated a guy for seven years and I liked him but I had to make him listen to P!nk - Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely). I ummm only wanted him to get the "Go away

Come back- Why can't I just have it both ways" part. He got the idea and I love him for it. I was seventeen and in high school. He would stay at my place since he dropped out of school, so I was seeing him ALOT. Anyways to this day me and him talk and will up and disappear for a week or two at a time.
