What makes you taurean girls change your men

A taurus friend of mine as constantly changed partners over the course of the last 5 years. She's flitted from boy to boy as frequent as every 6 months. I'm really curious what drives you to do that. She used to have a long term partner but after they broke up this cycle started.

Simple. We like to UPGRADE our partners. Make them better than how we found them. That's how we subtly show that we care.

I realized I missed a little background. I come from a relatively conservative background so monogamy and committed relationships for long term is a preference. She used to be a really good and loyal girl who stayed with the boys she chose. She's also as stubborn as a taurus comes. So I'm perplexed how she keeps changing boyfriends even though her typical MO is to find a boy who she considers long-term before getting together.

We should not have to change anyone, just the who you are... if we have to nag and shit. It's not something I can do for some one. You have to be mature and responsible...

When my ex bff hurt me. I am still single after 8 years. With.the occasional dates here and there. After my break up it took me 3-4 years I was in school though.. I happen to meet one guy and stuck to him till we figured out it's just physical attraction..

We both went separate ways, quit talking to guys for another year. Met another guy after that one. Had a great time. Then things started snowballing.. as it went super fast. So fast it ended in a couple months.

Stayed single again went back to previous guy, again just physical attraction. Left for good..

Met a guy with had 5 kids and I tried and he tried but his work schedule and mine clashed was always rescheduling plans.. that didn't last...

So since then haven't been dating just working and plan on being single and have standards due to my ex bff. Of you have to change has to be you first.

YUP!!... just like a cat plays with a ball of yarn... she's keeping herself occupied until she's ready to emotionally invest into someone who is WORTH it again.

She's 22 this year. I'm just curious about her life choices. It isn't my place but she's been through some rough times and I observe her from far. I used to be a mentor for her in a volunteer group.

@justagirl maybe. Her very original ex turned bi a few years after they broke up. Shit may have happened while they were together.

She probably got hurt. Pretty much.
I feel like doing so when the man i love doesn't care much. I feel vulnerable and then can let myself go.
Maybe she's doing so because she wants to proof herself she doesn't care.
Mind Tauruses are a bit vindictive especially when badly humiliated.
She may want to come back and make amends but she wants him to persuade her do so 10000000 times until she thinks herself so.
So persuading and chasing can work 😉

This sounds like casual dating with no strings attached.
Not every partner is suited for a long term relationship.
I could write a novel about my past comical, dating experiences.

Remember, most Taurus women are practical.

If I don't see stability or longevity, then it's on to the next.

I thought the "upgrade" quality was a Virgo trait?

I wouldn't say that I prefer to upgrade my man, however, I do need to be paired up with a man I admire, and that I completely believe in.
I want to make him happy and give him the world, and if an upgrade is what he wants, then I shall give it to him.
It has to be HIS dream, and he has to want it 100% .
I never wanted to be a pestering girlfriend who tries to make her man into something she wants.

There's a Chines saying: Mountains & rivers can change their appearance easily but it will be difficult to change the nature of a person. Expecting another person to change drastically seems to be wishful thinking, she's most likely gonna end up in disappointment.
