A Capricorn and an Aquarius pioneer the science into human sexuality.
The show covers: research into human sexuality....sexual myths, discovery of female sexuality and sexual independence, homosexuality, infertility, sexual experimentation... frigidity, prostitution, Freud... you name it.
It's a period drama set in the 1950s - 60s it portrays the real-life pioneers of the science of human sexuality, William Masters (Capricorn) Virginia Johnson (Aquarius). The series chronicles the unusual lives, romance, and pop culture trajectory of Masters and Johnson. Their research touched off the sexual revolution and took them from a midwestern teaching hospital in St. Louis to the cover of Time magazine and nearly a dozen appearances on Johnny Carson's couch.
Masters is a brilliant scientist who is annoyingly out of touch with his own feelings with a tremendous ego, insecurities, and resultant controlling behavior (Capricorn?). Johnson is a divorced mother who is ahead of her time, ahead of her time sexually, most like women today, and wanting, focusing on a career (Aqua).
