Anyone watching? I thought I found myself a new Westworld or Wayward Pines, tried watching the first episode but it was just awful. No confidence behind the camera, looks like a pretentious indie the way the scenes crawl forwards like a roadkill. Just wanted to shout "fuck the mood, you have an hour to catch my attention, it's not a goddamn art film!"Totally unconvinced of the universe it tries to create and the psychology/motives behind the action. I remember watching the 1990 movie of Atwood's novel, it was pretty captivating, reminded me of Stepford Wives. How in this golden age of tv-shows they manage to fail with such source material is beyond me.
