Wow, your style is so neat.

Posted by hattairI just paint for realse. I'm not sure what commisin means to be honest.
I don't really have anything to share at the time, sorry. Just lurking around boards until I stumbled upon your beautiful works. Do you do commissions?

Posted by MoonArtistMerci sweetie
I love the blue sun and grasses piece. Nice flow and contrast. 😄

Posted by LittleStarWhoa. You have talent!
I bake. Couldn't find some pics of my cheesecake but here are some

Posted by MoonArtistI love your sketching... Your jewelry... You keep it up. I'd like a necklace btw 🙂
I don't have any wips uploaded right now, but here are some finished pieces. Cross your fingers that the two recent inquiries about commissions end up having me do portraits for them.

Posted by MohiniThank you. I'm still wanting to get more detail, more realism.....always striving to improve. Inbox me about jewelry. I have an etsy page which is currently getting an overhaul with new pics, so it's not up and running right this moment. I do custom pieces as well as OOAK, and some limited in number pieces.Posted by MoonArtistI love your sketching... Your jewelry... You keep it up. I'd like a necklace btw 🙂

@moonartist your drawings are so life like... I envy it. You have talent.wow.

Posted by LittleStarThat cake is gorgeous! I thought it was a painting of a flower at first. YUM on those muffins and the cookies! Now I'm hungry.....
I bake. Couldn't find some pics of my cheesecake but here are some

Posted by MohiniI love all of your paintings. Simple, yet extraordinarily beautiful. I see myself walking throughout them as if in a dreamscape. Yes, very dreamy. You have such a lovely use of color I could never hope to have! All of my stuff is in black and white.
Not finished.

I'll keep posting my progress. Hope others post too. It's nice to share art and our thoughts about it.
G'day!

Posted by xXxAliciaXxXI'm not much of a singer and I suck at math. See, I'm not perfect. 😉
I want @Moonartist to be my mom.
Jeez woman. Is there anything you CAN'T do??

@Mohini, I love your painting. It's sooooooo beautiful and vivid.

Posted by TrueFantasyWhat's the symbolism with the woman looking away, the butterfly and the clock? I really like this. I kinda came up with my own interpretation... but I don't want to offend. I see a strong woman who doesn't care about socially accepted rules.. hard working, and realistic.
First page of my new sketchbook

Posted by aquamilaI really love your work. Do you mostly paint women? Are there stories behind your paintings? Have you always used watercolor?
Oh I've been looking for a thread like this
This is a bigger watercolour portrait

Posted by SensitiveBluesI was just admiring her oil painting of her grandmother.
truefantasy stop being so cool

Posted by MohiniI'm a big fan of colors too.Posted by DwellingOnMove: )
@Mohini, I love your painting. It's sooooooo beautiful and vivid.
I am super self conscious about it. I never complement my own work. I don't necessarily like it, tbh. But colors, ...I like color.
So for that, I give you a big thanks.click to expand

Was there any basis behind your sketch?

While I drew this I thought of the concept of how precious time was and that without us realising or paying much attention (hence the lady looking away) time can seem like it's 'flying' away. I wanted to incorporate the idea of time flying by and how precious and delicate it is so I thought a butterfly would be best to represent that. The brick wall was just to fill in some pencil work.click to expand

I bought myself a booklet and paint into it. just as hobby. nothing special. but I am in love with them. every day in the morning I open my booklet and look at all the paintings. the older ones and the newer ones. also I change the older ones when I found them weak. Such a blessing.click to expand

Posted by TrueFantasyGood job! Going from the freedom of drawing to that of digital art is not easy! I work as a graphic designer in a sign shop. It was the hardest thing trying to get my mind to transition over to the zone of digitally creating something. With traditional art, a creative impulse flowed right through my fingertips, straight onto paper. With digital art, that impulse has to travel through a mouse, onto a screen that I couldn't directly influence! I hope I'm making sense, Lmao. Its tough! You do a beautiful job though. Both digitally, and traditionally.
And now I do digital art. I'm practicing on faces.

Oh my goodness! You have such a highly developed sense of razor sharp focus. I bet you have an incredibly intense look in your eyes while drawing.

Posted by SnarPosted by MoonArtistThank you, and I'm not where I want to be with how much detail I get.....I want more!....and still retain some of the more abstract surroundings so the subject shines....working on that goal. I have no idea how I look when I'm drawing, but I tend to stick the tip of my tongue out. It's a habit I've always had when concentrating. lol

Not sure if my eyes are intense....they're just eyes.

Posted by SnarMurals are hard because they're so big. I end up losing patience with them. Great job on those! Love that sunset through the sea grass pic, and your Santana Lion is nicely detailed.

Your eyes take my breath away! Beautiful!
I love how abstract the objects are around your main focus point. If I focus on something right now with my eyes, it will be in sharp focus, and then everything that isn't the immediate focus point starts to blur away. Your pictures remind me of a very clever interpretation of how the eye actually sees something!click to expand
My goal has always been to create an intimacy with the subject that brings out the magical uniqueness in it, to make one FEEL.
