I don't have any wips uploaded right now, but here are some finished pieces. Cross your fingers that the two recent inquiries about commissions end up having me do portraits for them.

Thank you. I'm still wanting to get more detail, more realism.....always striving to improve. Inbox me about jewelry. I have an etsy page which is currently getting an overhaul with new pics, so it's not up and running right this moment. I do custom pieces as well as OOAK, and some limited in number pieces.

Needs finishing touches. Not finished

I'll keep posting my progress. Hope others post too. It's nice to share art and our thoughts about it.

G'day!
I love all of your paintings. Simple, yet extraordinarily beautiful. I see myself walking throughout them as if in a dreamscape. Yes, very dreamy. You have such a lovely use of color I could never hope to have! All of my stuff is in black and white.

What's the symbolism with the woman looking away, the butterfly and the clock? I really like this. I kinda came up with my own interpretation... but I don't want to offend. I see a strong woman who doesn't care about socially accepted rules.. hard working, and realistic.

Was there any basis behind your sketch?

I really love your work. Do you mostly paint women? Are there stories behind your paintings? Have you always used watercolor?

I'm a fan of acrylic but Ill branch out .. very beautiful. : )

@Mohini, I love your painting. It's sooooooo beautiful and vivid.
: )

I am super self conscious about it. I never complement my own work. I don't necessarily like it, tbh. But colors, ...I like color.

So for that, I give you a big thanks.

I'm a big fan of colors too.

I bought myself a booklet and paint into it. just as hobby. nothing special. but I am in love with them. every day in the morning I open my booklet and look at all the paintings. the older ones and the newer ones. also I change the older ones when I found them weak. Such a blessing.

Interesting interpretation, that's the beauty of art.
While I drew this I thought of the concept of how precious time was and that without us realising or paying much attention (hence the lady looking away) time can seem like it's 'flying' away. I wanted to incorporate the idea of time flying by and how precious and delicate it is so I thought a butterfly would be best to represent that. The brick wall was just to fill in some pencil work.

Interpretation says a lot : )

Good job! Going from the freedom of drawing to that of digital art is not easy! I work as a graphic designer in a sign shop. It was the hardest thing trying to get my mind to transition over to the zone of digitally creating something. With traditional art, a creative impulse flowed right through my fingertips, straight onto paper. With digital art, that impulse has to travel through a mouse, onto a screen that I couldn't directly influence! I hope I'm making sense, Lmao. Its tough! You do a beautiful job though. Both digitally, and traditionally.

Oh my goodness! You have such a highly developed sense of razor sharp focus. I bet you have an incredibly intense look in your eyes while drawing.

Thank you, and I'm not where I want to be with how much detail I get.....I want more!....and still retain some of the more abstract surroundings so the subject shines....working on that goal. I have no idea how I look when I'm drawing, but I tend to stick the tip of my tongue out. It's a habit I've always had when concentrating. lol
Not sure if my eyes are intense....they're just eyes.

Murals are hard because they're so big. I end up losing patience with them. Great job on those! Love that sunset through the sea grass pic, and your Santana Lion is nicely detailed.

@Mohini Thank you sincerely, that was very kind 🙂 I do happen to paint portraits of women primarily. Don't ask me why, it just kind of happened. They fascinate me because I am one. I love looking at my different portraits of different or even the same person and seeing how they turn into smaller facets of something bigger. In an unconscious way, I try to show that there is beauty in each of them, and that the different facets of femininity make up something really beautiful. I'm just really intrigued by those themes of femininity and beauty in conventional and unconventional ways, also intimacy and love.

About your second question, I know most of the persons I portray. I easily get bored with painting celebrities or such. That's why the process is always a very intimate one, because I'm trying to paint more than meets the eye. It's almost like I'm trying to capture their aura, their mood at that very moment. I'm allowing them to make a persona, which I then capture in my portraits.

And yes, watercolour has been my favorite medium since I was little, I've started using oil only around two years ago.

If you want to see more of my stuff, I'd be happy to post more 😄 Only if you're interested of course..

Your eyes take my breath away! Beautiful!

I love how abstract the objects are around your main focus point. If I focus on something right now with my eyes, it will be in sharp focus, and then everything that isn't the immediate focus point starts to blur away. Your pictures remind me of a very clever interpretation of how the eye actually sees something!

My goal has always been to create an intimacy with the subject that brings out the magical uniqueness in it, to make one FEEL.
