Drunk and compares you to her bf

a drunk girl told me that her current boyfriend at the time wasn't as smart as me

and kept trying to convince me how unsatisfied she was with her relationship ( he's too young , the sex isn't good anymore) etc.....

what were her intentions? was she trying to hook up with me then?

Probably just venting to you on her frustrations. Giving you a compliment on your intelligence might just be her way of offering something for listening and your empathy.

Drunk people are sloppy. If she was doing all that sober it’d be a whole nother thing.

I’ve noticed straight girls will do this for attention/validation when things aren’t coming up roses for them. Was she hitting on you? Sure. Maybe? But did she have an intention on following up with that? Probably not. Ego boost.

good thing i shut it down / peaced out when she wasn't looking.....but i was wondering why the random comparison

i found out later she had already hooked up with someone else that night too

so it was especially good i didn't take the bait

crazy though...do some girls really need that amount of attention?

No I feel like I dodged a bullet in a way but still jealous just because she was hot.

I think she hooked up with the other girl ( who she had told me wasn't her type) mainly I think because she didn't know I was coming to the party and for attention purposes .

later on in the night when the other girl was trying to make out with her in front of me she kept looking at me and pushing her away.
