I don't do chatter, I don't talk on the phone for more than a few minutes. I don't text back and forth. I don't validate the bitch.
I didn't even ask how she is doing, or say "I hope you are good".
And if you haven't noticed, I replied to her almost 24 hours later. She didn't even get a timely response from me.
Texting and calling is for making dates, hook-ups, and hangouts... I don't have conversations on the phone anymore.

If someone really wanna talk to you, they will see you.. And I do this with friends especially, because this is how I weed out the fakes.
A woman that wants to see you anyway, will never just talk to you and leave it at that.

My attention-whore is only talking to me because I am a back up... So she stays in contact, flirts, but won't go on a date with me.
If you have an attention-whore, this means you don't creep her out but she not ready for you.. She might even think she can do better than you. This means she is attracted to you, but there is low-interest.
Don't be mad at your attention-whore. Just be cordial and don't validate this creature.
