Well, he tries to fuck everything that moves after that 'break up'. Goes out all night drinking and picking up girls. Is on a sex mission. For a while he has a handful of women that he was juggling. Eventually they all move on and he kind of ends up alone.

But who is Repunzel though? What significance does she have and does it explain why he has such a problem committing? Like what is he looking for?

Rapunzel is a woman he keeps on texting when all the others fail him. If he doesnt manage to get laid, he texts her.

You only get to see her at the end of the movie. When all the others start to reject him, because they were themselves feeling rejected, he goes to meet Rapunzel. And she is a kinky kind of sex freak! She is striping and dancing for him, saying he should meet her flatmate because she wants to see his dick too! All very cold, no intimacy. He just goes to her house like if he was going to a hooker. Maybe she is one..

Then seems a bit too much for him and he leaves without fucking her, had sort of a awakening..

...whatever he was lacking can't no longer be numbed by sex.

What was he looking for? I don't know. The film doesnt offer a clear explanation. You start by hating the guy for being a womaniser and by the end you pitty him. It is one of those that leaves a blank ending.

Or maybe that's just how he is. Maybe he was not looking for anything. Some men (and probably some women) will never be satisfied with one single person.

It can be so many things 🙂 I like when movies dont end when they are over, but stick with you and make you question things 🙂

There is a similarity with the book Women from Charles Bukowski. In fact the book is mentioned in the movie, he borrowed it from one of girls.
