Lazy?

I've done it.. not to the extreme where he relies on me to tell him to get rid of his own headache, lol. But Cancer Mars & Venus here, need I say more.. Lol 😛

There is nothing attractive about a giant man child.
I don't want to have sex with my child.
Overly controlling men are just as awful. I don't want to have sex with my father either.
So he's just being lazy then?? No!! Wouldn't be with a man like that.
I may baby someone for whatever reasons..but I wouldn't be in a relationship with such person no! I don't think I can respect slothfulness.

Yes Teena, i think so
I was on a trip away with my parents once and i saw my mother pour cereal into a bowl, then the milk for my father...i mean really?
In defense of the men, if women do this for them, more fool them.
You mean like howard and bernadette from big bang theory?

I would do that if he's busy doing something else /is in a hurry/ is ill/ just not in a mood for once. But not if he just decided to be lazy forever.

He treats her home like a hotel and she's the servant, a maid, a possible broodmare. It reminds me of all the married women who provide structure and live like a single parent where their husband is an infantile dependent.
She is to blame for tolerating that......I wouldn't, in a heartbeat

Definitely not, it's like expecting a positive return from nurturing a trashcan ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Are you a Scorp too?
Mothers are often to blame though.....raising their sons to be dependent on them and then as my mother used to say *making a rod for some other women's back*

Mentally and emotionally exhausting.
Hey if it works for them then god bless. I prefer to be with someone a little more independent myself.
I can do this and then I'll get mad at you... what do I look like your mom, next day, pookie, don't get up, let me get that for you... — what can I say, I'm complicated.

I think that's quite nice and vice versa.
Unless she's bathing him or wiping him... Gross.
I prefer relationships where it's okay to take care of each other.
I'm super protective and nurturing, I'll take care of my parents, my siblings, my nephews and my boyfriend - instinctively.
It's a form of love.

I can see them at our lad's school.....not shown how to do anything
It is kind of cruel in a way.....not preparing a kid for the outside world and it's also a form of control to keep them babied

Absolutely
Or taking advantage of a partner.....that is just taking the piss

Yes! My mother was a Cappy and dad an Aries

Not necessarily a bum....some people are just happy to be babied and rely on the other too much

In that case I would loose all attraction for him. He needs to be able to stand on him own. I want to be in a team where we would help each other but if it's one sided then you're not a team anymore.

Well he was an Aries man that never allowed himself to grow up.......he chose the path of the everlasting child and my mother supported him on that

I didn't think that was much either but I thought I'll base my opinion on the original post. This might have just been one scenario she could think of .Obviously she might have seen more of what happened there or her dad's behavior in general.

I'm guessing she must have liked it somehow and he must have too because why else would you put up with it. I have a cap colleague at work. She is the alpha in the relationship but then she complains about her husband that he is so hopeless but I think she secretly likes to do it. Or maybe it's just a control things. 😛

Half the women here should be responding with a resounding "yes" to this shit. After all, they're drawn to being mommies and "fixers" for douchebags.

And maybe he knew that your mother wold Love to do that for him and he just let her do it..?
Maybe in some way..he understood her and let her do things in a way that wold please her...instinctively...
Do you even know how much cap women (generaly) Love to have total control?
I wonder if you ever understood your parents and their own chemistry...
Kinda sad to realise that maybe you didnt...and in the end you could only see what in your eyes was the *dark side*...
This is where we both differ Scorpio...we are both from Mars...buth you also got that Pluto right?..
Were you saw *Evil*...i saw Love...
Evil? Lol
I think anyone who tries to take away anyone's independence is somewhat foolish and cruel in a way. He was rendered completely helpless and unable to look after himself properly when she passed away...she spoiled him......literally
Is that love?
Total control is never good.....not loving or for the good of the other person
My mothers attempted control over my sis and I caused us both to rebel ....
Control freaks are not what love is about
Helping others to become the best of themselves is what love is about
*
Babying? I thought you were talking about some fetish or something 😄!
Do you use the term as serving? Didn't that use to be the normal behaviour of a wife? Of our mothers?
I do "baby" my man sometimes with pet names, cute gestures and even feeding him fruit, because I like it. I even serve him cooked food on the table! But...I would never live with a man who does not take his turn in doing these things for me.

Hello ladies 🙂
I saw a woman this morning who is married to a man that is dependent on her for everything....she has no children and i think he may be her substitute child? He is able bodied but expects her to *look after him* as she would a kid. If he has a headache, he waits for her to remind him to take a headache tablet lol
Do any any of you ladies like to be in a relationship like this or would the thought of it turn your stomach?
Personally, i prefer a strong man that can look after himself, even though i enjoy giving, there is something weird about having a man in your life who you feel the need to treat like a baby
I saw my mother do it for my Dad......
Not for me ~ it has to be equal. I love being a mum but not to a grown man
Anyone?
