I hate most visual porn becuase the women are terrible actresses. They talk dirty in really silly ways that leave me either laughing or wanting then to shut the hell up.

Plus porn stars do that weird hissing face where they push out there lips and make this sucky face with a hissing noise and thats a super huge annoyance to me. Makes me cringe.

I do read some harlequin type things that are rather pervy.

Porn doesn't really get me off.

dirty talk is either funny or annoying??_ agreed. it's really hysterical some of the things people blurt out in the heat of the moment.

honestly at first, anytime i'd hear weird dirty talk in a porn, i'd get really annoyed and turned off, but it's kinda growing on me. like anything else you'd have a specific taste in, certain dirty talk i think is sexy.

reading porn def leaves a lot more to the imagination??_ you can fill the sensory gaps however your heart desires.

I think it is definitely entertaining.

From a religious perspective, it's not virtuous.

I think to watch it, is not as bad as those actually creating it because since it is already out there whether you watch it not does not make a difference. However, if you do watch it you are still contributing to its existence. If nobody watched it, then they wouldn't produce it etc.

I'm personally against it. For example, if it was up to me I would get rid of all pornographic material. That is not to say I think it is not enjoyable. Since, I can't make that decision and me watching it or not, does not affect the output of porn out there...I'm not going to say I won't watch it again.

With that said, again, if I could magically make them disappear I would because I do find it immoral and not healthy to society as a whole.

It probably deflates people's sexual satisfaction since they might have unrealistic expectations of sex.

Something like the Don Jon effect.

i do like porn??_ i admit. like gc, i'd consider myself having been addict at several points in life. i kinda go through phases. i feel the same moral dilemma about my contribution to the culture just by watching it.

on the one hand, many of those porn stars know exactly what they have chosen in life, and that's what they want. but i know that can't be the story for all of them because some of them probably got into it just being too impressionable. that's when things get sad.

def can create unrealistic expectations of sex, but i think a lot of that is also on the individual, i would think, being susceptible to disjointed standards. or not having the wherewithal to understand it takes two people and the chemistry they create.

Most porn just annoys and grosses me out. I feel like gagging every time I see someone do that awful spitting thing, and chicks moaning when they aren't even being touched leaves the eyes rolling and the attention span waning. I can also be a bit of a technique snob...

But that being said, I'm a fairly regular viewer. I'm extremely picky about what I watch but the material that I see as being up to my personal standards I find entertaining and enjoyable. Often it's the only access I have to certain fetish kinks.

I don't like watching porn. It makes me uncomfortable. I'm not the type that considers sex 'beautiful' or anything. On the other hand, I occasionally read. I can visualize it more to my liking. It's the attention to details that and the slowness of the act when it's read that I also enjoy. Usually there's not a whole lot of talking done in the things that I have read which is a plus for me. Dirty talk is an instant turn off for me.

I like it but I'm not obsessed with it.

The fakeness makes me laugh but yes, the visual turns me on. And there's always some new shit you can pick up, as long as it isn't crazy.

I like amateur porn better because at least it's partners who have genuine chemistry and that shows a lot in the action 😄.

Genuine chemistry > sex

I like reading erotica more in a way because my mind is totally building on the things I read and it engages my brain..the most important sexual component.

Indifferent. IMO nothing about the industry & practice in itself is morally transgressive.

However, a lot of XXX entertainment is so outrageously campy and over-the-top, that I can't imagine anybody gets turned on by viewing it.
Furthermore, I have trouble relating to it as a heterosexual female--being that most of it caters to the male perspective--I heard somewhere that straight men are the top market for lesbian pr0n, which I don't find hard to believe.

Ron Jeremy would destroy any hope of sexual gratification to be had, one would think. Straight male adult actors are hideous on average. Big dongs hardly serve as compensation for abnormal excessive body hair, being grossly overweight, or facial features resembling that of a gargoyle.

And to top it off, on camera these guys bang chicks young enough to be one of their daughter's friends. That set-up, which is typical for mainstream XXX, so obviously panders to the fantasies of gross aging men who look like the actors starring in those films.

That's my main objection to watching pr0n, on a personal level. LOL.

😆 Supersize, you're hilarious. The way you talk about porn --- it's as if you've been researching and watching all types. 😆

I used the phrase "everyone and their mother" in the figurative sense of the meaning, to assert that an immeasurably vast portion of modern humanity has viewed material with pornographic/adult content, at some point or another. Not to literally suggest that all citizens of the free world are indeed avid XXX-junkies, just like Mommy dearest is/was. 😛

And yes, while collective values have changed considerably throughout passing decades, generations & centuries, prostitution/the sex industry & sex-toys go WAY back in history and across the world.
Point being, there's always been a demand for such services & related entertainment which has carried over to modern times. Of course, this subject matter was strictly hush-hush among old timers moreso than it is now. Even though people dreaded the immoral implications that came alongside "dirty" entertainment, many still indulged said urges, low-key.

And yes, it's difficult to envision British royalty fiending for their smut fix, because that directly contradicts the whole hoity-toity & honorable public image. People of high status have(and have always had)extra incentive against publicly airing their dirty laundry.

well, I can envision Henry the 8th watching PORN if he were living in this era. 😛

A merrry King he be....all his many wives, ho ho ho...

oh and the King of France, Louis or something like that. He would definitely be into that. (read the biographies of some of these guys. jesus. Too much hedonism)

This is me. All the way. Porn is something I use when I can't have the real thing from my fianc?, and I may even have a craving for it, but afterward I cringe and feel dirty.

I know my fianc? doesn't watch it, he knows I'm not against it because we've had orgies before. It didn't bother me in real life, why would some silly fake video make me feel threatened? He just generally doesn't find it appealing.

what about watching with your significant other?

Nope, I hate it. Especially if it involves porn celebs. The few times I've watched it with a SO I've found the person was more focused on me and my reaction because he is trying to figure out where to take it with me. It's a flawed approach because 1) I feel like I am sitting behind a one way mirror (--turn off, do you're own work!) and 2) I am intrigued by a lot of things, but it doesn't mean I will do it or even consider trying it. My curiosity is not a green light to try all things freaky especially if she faking the funk and it looks more painful then enjoyable.
