The Plaza on Fremont St. (The old strip)
Its reasonably priced, has decent slots and Fremont St is pretty awesome to see.
But it really depends on what you are there for and how much time you have.
If you are there to gamble, there are three or four must do casinos.
If you are there to see cool shit and don't have a lot of time, the old strip downtown is the best bet because if you stay on the big strip, the casinos are so massive....you will only see a small portion of what Vegas has to offer.
If you have plenty of time...three + days, the larger strip with the huge ass casinos are really cool to walk thru. Every one is a different theme and its like one giant adult amusement park after another. It is a lot of walking, so comfortable shoes and water is a must.
The fountain at The Bellagio is a must see for everyone their first time.
If you are there to see tours of the canyon or things like that....I have no clue 🤣😂😂😂

I went to Vegas for a few nights and found it very disappointing, but I suppose it’s one of those things you should experience once at least. I stayed on the new strip in one of the big casinos. I think it was the Flamingo. It was really cheap and the room was extremely nice. I booked a room and asked for the best view and they obliged. The view of the strip was amazing, especially at night.

I'll be there 3 days but the last night i'm going solo, so I just want to enjoy myself with myself. Fremont is intriguing.
what are the bigger casino's like? I guess I'm just not getting the point because i don't know. like.... it just looks cool and you look at it and your like cool! or is there stuff to do?
i may gamble a bit, if i get bored or something but is not a priority. I'd like to go to grand canyon and the damn, but that's family shit. and I'm going in hopes to get away from family shit! Honestly if i just sleep in a bed w/o a 4 yo kicking me, that would make my month!
The bigger casinos each have a theme and there is something to do at each one. For exmple...NYNY has roller coaster? Paris has the Eiffel Tower, MGM grand has movie themes and the Lion (maybe not anymore)...Bellagio, the fountain, etc. There is one with a volcano, but I forget which one.
Just walking thru them is an experience.
If you are a foodie, the restaurants at any of them are an out of body experience....lol
The design in each one is really unique and surreal.
Whatever you imagine...it's probably three times bigger in real life in Vegas 🤣😂🤣😂click to expand

Sounds great....why disappointed?
I personally found it tacky, trashy, and lots of shady people doing shady business tactics. I guess it’s true in any large city. Like those Vegas girls wearing the big feathers and bejeweled bikini outfit, freaked out when I took a picture of Fremont street and she happened to be standing off to the side, demanding $ 10 cash because she believed she was in the photo…. Like nahhh bitch, I don’t think so. People pissing outside in bushes, passed out drunk in the streets, others vomiting. I also ate at many of the restaurants in the hotels and got sick from most of them.click to expand

I went for my bday last May and had a blast! Going back this coming May for EDC ❤️ Last time, me and my bff shot a bunch of guns and had a fucking blast!!! We also threw axes and other weapons and they took pics for us with Viking wigs which was super fun! We didn’t get a chance to go ziplining like originally planned, so I’ll t try and do that and drive some fast cars this time! Also—have to go to Meow Wolf!!
Where you stay is of less importance bc you’re hardly ever there. You just may want to get one on the strip if you plan to be there a lot. We stayed at the Luxor on the old, not updated side and loved it!

I don't have plans for that night and i'm not sure what to do, or where to stay to be close to cool shit i want to do. I don't want to go out and party that night, just explore and chill, some kind of unique experience.
There are a lot of 4 stars under $ 200 so I think that's the price/quality I want to be at. but there are just too many options, and i feel overwhelmed.
