Happy Birthday man, continue with the good work and keepin' it real.

I don't know... but I often get horribly depressed the first or second day before my birthday. Hope you don't suffer from the same thing.

Ahh, sorry the reply date looked like the 28th, perhaps I misread.

Happy birthday to all Virgo's anyway.

But not too happy, because that's too un-Virgo like.

Though not too Gothic either, I mean, we are not depressed really, but there is no need to be stupidly over-cheerful either.

Nor too 'big-deal' birthday-like, because that's embarrassing, and we know how Virgo's like embarrassment.

Nor too personal, because we Virgo's don't like people insinuating a closer relationship than actually exists.

Nor too non-committal, really you should make some effort to acknowledge our importance in your lives, even if you don't really know us.

Nor anything too friendly, because we really don't want to be on the spot for a clever reply, nor are we good at that buddy, buddy crap.

Nor too cold either as, you know we don't acknowledge people we think are just going through the motions.

And for God's sake no sappy sentiment or overly dramatic, expressions of appreciation.

No sentiment, no party, no cake, and no damn balloons!

And don't go buying me anything either, Virgo's can't deal with that whole " thanks a lot I always wanted an ergonomically engineered, three-speed chromium plated, oven mitt!" scene, without permanently damaging the relationship.

Of course you could have gotten me a card, after all chances are I got you one; and a gift.

So that's it fellow Virgos, have a 'not too happy or too sad, impersonal, yet genuinely warm, sentiment free, birthday!"
