You're quite welcome. I actually felt a bit sorry for Zd1987, as I could tell he was likely as unaware of the html protocols as I was when I first came here. Being Virgo, nothing prompts me more than to be of service, lol, so I hopped to it. 😉
Ha ha on the crazy perfectionism! Once you preview a message with html code in it, some of the code gets converted in the message box itself and won't display correctly if you post it just after previewing. You have to copy and paste all over again from your main document (in my case, MS Word), hence my "Three Times Charm" effect. 😄 Ugh! The pains of perfectionism!

For those of you who are inexperienced with the Quote boxes and would like to know how to condense a long post, here's the basic gist:
(1) Click the <a/> <br/> immediately following the "Posted by Whomever" as your landmark.
(2) Beginning with the next word (which is the first word of the text body 😉), highlight and delete all the text that you do not wish to appear in the new quote box. This will help to avoid tedious redundancy and draw emphasis to the mention you're actually referring to.
