Am I over-reacting o_o

So, my Virguy just called me an hour and half ago, on his way to work common thing between us.. It was going all well, He has a son from a previous relationship, I often ask my virguy how he's doing.. Out of nowhere, he decides to be all aggressive " I told you! already, why are you asking again?" Me, being a Leo female I would have lashed out but didn't have the energy and I calmly said to him "Hey! whats wrong? Relax, I was only asking? Him he continues to yell but noticed my tone of authority came on he lowered his voice... I told him well, I have to go we'll talk later.. His reply is "Whateverr... and something else but I've already disconnected... It's not his first time he's spoken to me aggressively I usually ignore it, but tonight I wasn't yelling or raising my voice whatsover just give him a tone to relax.. I'm not upset, it's just I don't want this to be a habit thinking he can talk like that to me... I'm just giving him his space to realize what he did and also for myself... So, after I disconnected our convo I've decided to turn off my phone, advice from any "aggressive" Virgos can give me some insight you think I'm over-reacting or anything?? Thanks
