Truthfully, people loooooveeee to give us hell for saying ANYTHING. And I’ve tried to change my delivery, my tone, my words, my expressions. Just never enough.
So for the past few months I’ve just not said anything at all and watched them all burn 😄
I feel like people get irritated with the details that virgos get into? Like my mind will start running all scenarios in my head and people who know me might already want me to stop that train of thought and just go step by step instead of all steps at once.
It saddens me because you guys are super talented and you really do make things absolutely perfect but sometimes you focus soooo much on all the details that you forget about the big picture
I had an ex- virgo friend who had a youtube channel and people loved the inherent quality of her content but she'd spend so long focussing on the little things that her views never went up because she wouldn't just do the things that would work to help her channel grow. She wouldn't compromise her perfection standards despite it working against her

I made the mistake of trying to advise her how to "loosen up" and relax her perfection tendencies and let go of the need to take care of every single detail - all in the aim of getting more views

I think it shows when there are less issues in the end product, but no one cares for perfect, sometimes it is quantity over quality. not always but in the bigger picture, like you said. Focus needs to be on what is important and not is it perfect. And yes, it is hard accepting negative feedback, even though it may not be negative, because we have already worked so hard that it feels like our efforts or sincerity is being questioned. I know I can be my own worst enemy sometimes. 😄
It depends what it is. Sometimes perfection is absolutely called for and then you guys are the best because you really do notice every single part of the project. Carving a magnificent sculpture , for example , every single tiny detail matters
But carry that kind of attention to detail over to more mundane everyday things and it ends up becoming slightly neurotic (from a non-virgo's viewpoint)
The irony is you advise people because you want to help them do things better and we attempt to advise you because we want to see you get more rewarded for your efforts. I wouldn't tell a virgo how to do something better but I'd want to help them do things in a way that will let them get more rewarded for their work in real terms rather than just their own satisfaction of being 100% pleased that their work is faultless. That's what I mean about the big picture
I can tell you understand where virgos come from. Virgos value that a lot. 🙂 I do get what you mean want to see get more rewarded. So I think along with losing out on the rewards, this nature also causes virgos to be taken granted of.
Yeh and that makes you really sad doesn't it? to be unappreciated?
I have spent a lot of time (and talking lol) with virgos so yeh I do get their way of thinking to a certain extent. I'm also quite a fan. I think they're generally really smart, kind, quality people. I'm sure there's some exceptions lolclick to expand
As I am getting older, I am less sad and more aware. I also don't want to be there where I am not appreciated. Before I used to make time for anyone, and friends mostly reached out when they needed something. Now I am more selective. Usually when it comes to others personal matters I don't get involved, but still used to listen to friends vent all the time, now not so much.

There it is.....sincerity. I love and care so deeply and everything I do is sincere. Sometimes just sitting and staring into my lovers eyes means a lot to me.
I wonder why can't people just allow me to be sincere? I am accepting of other people's quirks. I dont point out their flaws. I just want them to allow me to show them how it is that I love.click to expand
I think they will value it when they don't get it freely without asking. I know, why can't we just be appreciated the way we are? Give too much without being asked and you are taken for granted. But over time you will lose interest in just giving and giving, especially to people who are mean in return. They will try to make you feel like your kindness is your weakness, but same time ask for help when they need since they know you will put in efforts. Well only till you reach your limit.

Yes. Something so easy can become so complicated. Thats why I take an entire day to clean my condo. Where some can clean quickly (I call it surface cleaning) I have to move everything and get into the nooks and crannies and sterilize. As I am in the process it's irritating even to myself.
As far as your youtube friend.....if that were me I'd totally be open to suggestions if my channel weren't going well. Actually, I ask for suggestions and ideas from many people all of the time. I like to hear other perspectives.
Yeh I knew how stubborn she was though. We geminis love to try and help people too and sometimes our help isn't always welcome either so I get how it is for virgos in the same situation. We're probably less tactful than you too - we can get carried away with our ideas..
Ha that's funny - I just asked you in your other thread whether or not you like a good clean up 😄 It must be satisfying once you've completed the task though even if it did take you all day

i've noticed, people whose got a similar nature to me (though i seem to chase a lot in my current relationship, i'm by nature an 'i can take it or leave it' kinda person lol i suck) don't work long-term with me. like i can seem like i won't be able to move on, but time and again i've proven that i always move on anyway.
so most people that remain in my life had to really impose themselves coz i don't really exert too much effort in maintaining my relationships outside of the romantic.
i guess this makes me quite passive.

She's like that too . I'm not really feeling I want her back at the moment though, if ever. She was actually annoying me with the constant advice. It reached the point where it felt condescending and I told her that. Surprisingly that didn't go down too well either
I think that's where geminis/virgos come unstuck sometimes. I find it very hard NOT to say something I'm thinking, even if it's something negative or criticism and that's not the best way to be with a highly strung and oversensitive virgo (not saying all virgos are like that but she was)click to expand

@MadTwins80 also what's your moon? i attract and am attracted to gemini moons. there's something so easy about our mutual detachment. but at some point, the earth in me kicks in and i have to question where something's going. so even though nothing truly terrible went on, i left and moved on to someone with future plans. i feel like it could work with gem moons if i were older, by that i mean when i've had a bunch of divorces and give zero fucs or smthng. i feel like much older people have less to commit to.

I feel like people get irritated with Virgos period. Damned if you do damned if you don’t. After thinking more about this I’ve realized I control what I know that I can, and what I can’t, I can’t.
It’s fine to try to soften ur words or slow down when explaining it to those people but honestly heck it. We can’t change everything about ourselves all the time.

I'm leo moon but I totally agree with that. I have had that exact thing. We don't seem to be able to take things to the next level
The thing I don't understand is I try and go somewhere whilst the virgo girl is asking "but where is this going?" 😅
She's cautious not wanting to move forward unless she knows where it's leading and I'm thinking let's go, I don't know where we're going but who cares? And for that reason we don't go anywhere and yes eventually it peters out.click to expand

@VirgoOPPP Made a double post but I have had virgos literally say to me "Is this going anywhere?" 😅 and I say "no because you won't go anywhere"...
I think of it as like one of your favourite foods (communication). It's great at first but if you eat it every meal you start to get sick of it but with geminis and virgos it's as if there's nothing else on the menu 😅 So you're never really going to say "I hate you" because it's still a food you love but like secretly you're getting bored with it
I've never had a big argument with a virgo though. It always remains somewhat respectful and anyway they cut you off pretty quickly and sharply if not, which I actually respect. I am hopeless at that. I'd probably still be arguing now with my ex-friend if she let me. That's one of the reasons why I don't want to try and "make up". With a gemini things flourish to a certain point then don't progress any further because the gemini doesn't know where he's going and the virgo needs to know where she's going. That's what I've found anyway
The virgo gf I had we slept with each other first date . I think that was key because we started out with an emotional connection and didn't have that barrier of trying to move from purely intellectual connection to something deeper

Makes sense. I do eventually want to know where things are going but I need to feel it first. Actions speak louder to me. I dont want to push anyone into something that they don't want or may not be ready for.

Yea. Its kind of like when I dated this Libra once. I wanted to sleep with him but he took his time. Then when he told me that he loved me I wasn't ready for that and I broke up with him.

I think of it as like one of your favourite foods (communication). It's great at first but if you eat it every meal you start to get sick of it but with geminis and virgos it's as if there's nothing else on the menu 😅 So you're never really going to say "I hate you" because it's still a food you love but like secretly you're getting bored with it
I've never had a big argument with a virgo though. It always remains somewhat respectful and anyway they cut you off pretty quickly and sharply if not, which I actually respect. I'm leo moon but I totally agree with that. I have had that exact thing. We don't seem to be able to take things to the next level
The thing I don't understand is I try and go somewhere whilst the virgo girl is asking "but where is this going?" 😅

I think it's a matter of perspective. Virgo women are refined, thinking things through on a granular level and teasing out what won't work. But this is for everything that they do, all of the time. It's innate and can also be exhaustive. So when speaking, what comes across is the simplified version which is short and to the point. It's with the purpose of fulfilling a goal, no emotional thought involved. So for people who may not operate in the same space, this can come across as cold, detached and mean.
