I called. My primary care provider was unavailable, so she'll call me later with more detaisl, but what i got is that My CT scan came out normal, no gallbladder issues, my kidneys are normal, the only thing is they can see my liver is getting fatty. From the bloodwork they noticed that my glucose was a bit high..

So i'm glad my organs are good, happy for that, ecstatic, now i have to figure out where that pain is coming from, it's not muscle pain...

Anyways thanks for the love guys....

Glad that stuff seems ok, at least with your organs. Hopefully they can sort of what is going on. GL to you...

I'm too young to die, seriously a wake up call, and have to figure out where this pain came from. It's not normal. It was sudden and lasted the whole day and im still in pain, but its way less.

CC, I'm a nurse and have worked in health care for over 20 years.

sometimes pain can be "referred pain", in other words, pain that stems from another location or issue. sometimes you can feel something in one area of your body and it has nothing to do with that area. it's origin is from something else.

I don't know if this what you're experiencing or not.

You're pretty young, so having a fatty liver is rather unusual. Of course, I don't know your diet or your family medical history. Having an elevated glucose level could be temporary or something to deal with. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you are an African American, yes? If this is accurate, AA tend to have a higher rate of diabetes over other races. So this is something you should really monitor.

If you are consuming a high carb diet, what you really doing is elevating your glucose levels as they breakdown into sugar. If you don't burn this sugar off with exercise after you consume it, the carbs/sugar are stored as fat. This is possibly why your liver is fatty.

I don't know if you exercise, but if you don't, start. Simple aerobics won't cut the mustard either. I'm talking intense cardio, core and weight training.
Also eating fruits, vegetables, protein and restricting yourself on carbs, can make a difference over time.

I'm curious, do you have any colon issues? My husband has colon issues and diverticulitis he inherited from his parents. He gets pain in his colon region at times and has to take medicine for it. I also have him on organic supplements to ease the pain.

I have had pain before that wasn't explainable and went to my chiropractor. Sometimes a good adjustment (which re aligns the vertebrae and promotes neuron health, can indeed resolve the pain issue. Sometimes pain stems solely from a pinch nerve thus it won't show up on a CT scan of the abdomen etc.

Not trying to preach to you how to live your life. Just wanted to give you my two cents. Hope you're doing better and this gives you a little insight.

A few years ago after i had our first son, I couldn't get rid of the belly fat, even with working out 5 times vigorously at the gym.

have you ever tried the Ketosis diet? I did this through "Ideal Protein". Basically, your carbs are monitored and you eat more protein.
You also drink more H20. By doing this, your body is denied a large number of carbs, which is why you can't get rid of belly fat.
So in order to utilize carbs for energy, your body stops relying on outside sources and starts burning your own fat for energy.

When you first go into ketosis, the energy you get is mind blowing. I was running around cleaning and exercising like I was 15 again and on
adrenalin. It took me about 3 weeks before I got totally used to it and wasn't hungry. I dropped belly fat faster than any other type of diet.

Other key is Leptin. Most people don't know about Leptin. It is a hormone found in your fat cells. It regulates your fat burning and metabolism.
I take supplements that increase the productivity of Leptin. I also take supplements as plain old Cinnamon, which lowers your blood glucose.

I did this when I was in my early 40's, so you being younger, should be able to excel in this if you put in the effort.

If you wait CC, it only gets harder. The first thing you have to do is accept who you are and what goals you have to improve yourself.
You have to be honest with yourself and want to reach a goal or it's a complete waste of time.

All the best
