Communicating with a Virgo

So the Virgo I know does not communicate very well. He lives in his minds and most of the conversations are not serious, very petty, and constant jokes. He skips out on serious talk and if it is needed to be discussed it's a quick conversation. Should I be focusing more on things of random nature or just constantly talk about myself? He doesn't respond well to personal questions or anything in general that has to do with him. If he does answer it's in few words but never details - he says it's his privacy. He is very private. He does not allow anyone dictate what he should or shouldn't do.

Let me know your thoughts.

How long have you guys been talking?

The virgos I know take a while to open up... They don't respond well to "prying", but if you keep the conversation natural and light once in a while they will reveal bits and pieces.... until they completely trust you, after however long it takes, then they will talk about the deeper things.

But I agree.. it's so difficult and frustrating at times when you are trying to get to know them better.... maybe that's why they say you need PATIENCE when dealing with a virgo..

Trust me, he has a lot of inner feelings & deep conversations that he's dying to discuss. It's hidden very deeply. Sometimes our own family doesn't know our deepest secrets! You won't see this side until we trust you. We will keep all conversations on the surface until we are ready to go deeper. The more serious the relationship/friendship gets, the more serious our conversations get too.

Plus, if YOU are confident & comfortable about opening up, we will too. I open up better when the other person leads & let's me see that they are safe to talk to. Its only when I don't feel pressured or judged, that I will open up like crazy lol. Also people that have experienced a lot of difficultly in their lives or people that had similar past situations like us, really get us to open up... We like being able to relate to you.

We are very passionate, intellectual people. Have patience & show him that you are safe. But most importantly, you must open up first without ever pressuring him to. He will come around 🙂
