Dating Virgo Sun/Sagittarius Moon Man

Hi,
I wanted to know more about how to deal with the guy I am seeing who has his Sun sign in Virgo and Moon Sign in Sagittarius. I am a Sun in Cancer, Moon in Aquarius woman and when we are together, the connection is very strong. We love to debate, trade smart comments and stimulate each other mentally. At the same time, we are affectionate with one another.

I figured that was because our moon-moon and sun-sun connections were positive. However, I find that there are days when he doesn't contact me. He will go 4-5 days without contact and during those times I let him be. When I finally reach out he instantly responds and is eager to see me and makes plans.

I was wondering whether this was just a part of his nature to need freedom and time to himself to think and do his own activities. I also like having my freedom (Aquarius moon and Uranus at base of chart), but since he have only been seeing each other for a month it is a little more difficult to not want that reassurance (plus the Cancer in me wants to be nurtured).

Just wanted some more perspective.
