Hurting someone

What do you do when you finally realize that someone isn't necessarily incompatible with you... but you know that there is more out there for you to discover? Esp when you enjoy the person... and they emcompass a lot of what you want. I very well could be shooting myself in the foot... but I dont think he is the one for me. Damn, I hate hurting people.

You hurt someone more by leading them on and not giving them your attention. Leave.

Yes, you are right... just finding it hard to leave because I really do care about him and I'm still attrached... just a lot of other factors, and wish to remain friends if possible. And its not like I can just ignore him.. we work on the same floor.

ok, If you feel you have most of the ingredients with him and there is a strong attraction you dont necessarily need to be hasty in your decision, if he is right for you he will want to go along with your plans and be part of you achieving them, but if you mean it in regards to other guys or something more than him you have to ask yourself why, why does he not feel enough for you, weigh up the pro`s and con`s and talk to him about it, you may see something in him that you have`nt seen before that helps you decide what to do, some times fear of the unknown or fear of losing out on something can mess with your perception of something and then we don`t always make the right decision, that`s when we shoot ourselves in the foot, be open about your feelings then you both have a much clearer and informed choice. People either grow to something more together or they grow apart it depends on the integrity and trust of two people and whether they have the strength to not abuse that, If you are absolutely sure he is not the one for you then you need to be real with him to enable you both to be free..
