My ghetto Virgo english

It seems i'm hated on for my ghetto English which i don't kno why I'm trying to understand i speak very good English I'm being jock from left and right i guess I'm well loved.

i dunno bout everyone else but i love readin ur posts. u my man. i used to live in brooklyn by the way. bushwick to be exact, but i live in suffolk county now.

How do you equate being questioned on your language skills as being hated on by a person?

Sounds very insecure about it to me .. you get questioned as to what kind of talk that is, and so you go to another room and make a banner about it, as if you want people to come and approve of something .... kind of like what PP did.

What's up with that?

Second ... what does your lack of language skills that you present in here have anything to do with being loved or hated?

Thanks Virgo07 i really appreciate that i do my best to keep it 100% its not a easy job I'm from east new york tho but i use too live in different parts of bk and bush wick high school i went there for a year and a half and just recently just graduated from a high school called wildcat in Manhattan so I'm all good.

I think he is from a different generation that uses a certain amount of slang. If I am not mistaken, I think Virgo is no more than 19 years of age. Not to condemn him or to make excuses for him. I also do not think that he takes this forum as a serious platform to put forth his best English skills. Also, I think environment, socio- economic status and various other factors contribute to a person's grammar. So, I think without knowing these factors, criticizing him and belittling him is not the best route. If you want to encourage him to improve his English on the forum, then do just that, encourage him. If you do not give rats behind, then leave him alone.

Also, can everyone stop saying "ghetto English". First off, not everyone who was raised in the "ghetto" speaks English poorly or uses slang. The term "ghetto English" in itself is ignorant. I think a more appropriate term would be slang.

natural25 i can speak good English thank you very much but typing it sometimes I'm to lazy to use spell check i don't think it's nothing wrong with using dat instead of that a lot of people use slang because its easy to use I'm only professional when i have to be.

Listen PA i have a leo moon i don't like when people step on my pride or my speaking you don't really kno Virgos are emotional when you step on they're pride or when say they can't do sum thing you must be dumb.

I am not saying that you can or cannot speak English well. I have no idea what you can do. I am referring to factors that might explain your speech. Whether the reasons include age, convenience or you not knowing any better. My point was that it is not anyone's job on this forum to judge without knowing the person and where he or she comes from.

I lived in the projects for 14 or so years myself .... at least those people weren't afraid to say the word ghetto.

So, it is ghetto talk then, due to not having a care about your education that you admitted to on another thread? You said, you learned nothing in school .. and I believe it.

Hope that gets you where you need to be in life .... that is, if you even care where you are going.

Again, as I said on another thread ... I'm totally shocked that a Virgo isn't conscientious about his language skills ... just thoroughly, literally shocked.

Oh just so you know because for some reason you equated my asking you a question to feelings ...... for a person to be shocked, isn't an indication of love, nor hate.

Just say, since you don't know, since you learned nothing in school .. so, I figured you must not know what the word "shocked" meant.
