But what you are describing sounds to me like a major superiority complex, and this is the thing that pisses me off the most about Scorpios. I have been involved with some of this "manipulation for the sake of improvement", but the thing is, I KNEW what they were trying to do, and KNEW that they were WRONG in their perception of what would be "best" for me.

But! Don't even let me think that I know what's better for me. Oh, no. Scorpio knows all. And if you try to tell them different, guess what happens? *SHUT OUT*

Anyway, you do know that that's not what I've said, right? I said that being hurt by peoples high self esteem is a sign of low self-esteem...What does that have to do with what you wrote?

...Yes, like I said-we are creatures of conflict, we don't do "compromise" all that well.
And I really don't see the problem with that "superiority complex", either you are right and you get to execute your plans=success, or you fail-in that case-failure is what you deserve.

You are absolutely right. The problem is that it's annoying as hell...just makes you wanna SCREEEEEAAAAAMMMMMMMM and punch something over and over....because that will somehow make the Scorpio realize that they don't always know what's best. Yeah, definitely. 🙂

And...even if/when a Scorpio fails...that doesn't mean you have won. It took me a while to realize this, but now that I have, it just pisses me off even more.

There's nothing wrong with that, I think most Scorpios would respect you if you'd confront them-at very certain situations at least.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more profitable of an idea it seems. And that way, when all my energy and effort has been completely wasted and I feel ready to turn into a big, steaming pile of runny, squishy mush...at least I'll have some money to show for it.

Well, there are different ways to take its meaning, but there are definitely some religious references.

Ol? in this song is an expression of excitement, strength.

The literal translation sounds sloppy...so...the idea is that the person wants to sing to the Virgen Mary because they are so excited and full of faith.

This is a side of my personality that doesn't come out much, I have fun when it does, and then I deal with the consequences later... I suppose it could be considered a shoot first, ask questions later mood. 😉

Yknow it's funny this was mentioned because I had my Virgo friend tell me that (he takes the bus to and from work) one time recently he was just kinda tapping his fingers unconsciously thinking anything of it and this guy came up to him and (I guess he reached his boiling point or was having a bad day or something) and just gets in his face saying, "STOP IT!" and it just shocked the hell outta him that this guy would react in such a way for a simple (yknow how ya tap your fingers against something) gesture like that and he wasn't feeling he was offending anybody - just minding his own business and it just startled him - but I haven't noticed anything like this w/ the Virgos I've been around - I've seen them slowly wear down their patience - and when they do it's usually telling them something about how they feel in a serious yet sometimes sarcastic way - but usually if the patience wears really thin (I mean usually this happens over a long period of time) they'll eventually say something about how they feel - it seems like they've gotta work themselves up (kinda like Caps - I know I have the same kinda disposition as well when dealt with a similar situation) before actually being like 'look...' though I have seen Scorpios get territorial and Tauruses get possessive - but again - it might depend on the Virgo's moon sign as well - cause I haven't seen this kinda behavior personally in the Virgos I've known 😛)

aw, screw it!! If a person wants to criticize with no ability to take some back, why entertain them? Or, take their knowledge add it to your own, and grow stronger from there; plenty-o-times I had to hear my scorp father harp on as if he knew what was best for me when he forgot the most important rule of the individual; control of the self; regardless of what he could ADVISE OR TEACH, IT IS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL TO ENCORPORATE THESE TEACHINGS....I listen to him only when he speaks sense, and isn't in his 'superior mode' let them think they've got it; in the end, does it matter? perhaps that is why scorpios are the ones whom are the ones whom are subjectively seen as everyone's 'whipping boy'....whatev, everybody has something to say scorpio or not, take what they've got that's useful, and build a glorious empire in the end to eliminate them...
