Relationship status on Facebook?

Just curious as to which signs do and which don't or if there is a correlation....do you post your relationship status on facebook or prefer to keep it off the public airwaves?

I would never put my relationship status on facebook as I believe its my own private matter. But my sister who is an Aries always puts her relationship status on.

Definitely not. I'll tell anyone who needs to know without announcing it to the whole world.

One of our university lecturers was a young, pretty woman that every student admires. One day one of the students searched her facebook account. Her facebook relation status was —married?? with a link to his husband??s profile. And when that student opened her husband??s profile then his relationship status was —its complicated'. And the next day, that student was telling everyone at university about the probable bad married life of our lecturer. From that incident I learnt that if your privacy is important to you and you don't want to give chance to others to do gossip about your personal life then its better to keep your relationship status hidden and use as much privacy options on social networking sites like facebook, as you can.

And it's a proof that we are NOT the only one who cares about us, there are people at our university, at our office etc. that spent hours to find our facebook accounts and if privacy is less then try to find something to gossip about.

I don't.
I'm a private person and it's none of their business. My Aries bf puts his relationship status and keeps on telling me to set mine to visible. -___- . I still don't want to lol. My friends & family know who I'm with though... I'm not trying to tell people that I'm not taken.. just "it's none of your business!" =D

Don't confuse yourself with thinking that people who care to have gossip on people is the same as caring for the people.

This is why I don't have a facebook... People are so sensitive about it... Every gf I had got on and would delete anyone tha was a girl... one even deleted my sister... lol Such a double standard... it is like a dammed if you do and dammed if you don't...

All the friends that I had that where girls actually normally where hurt by being deleted... lol

I had a gf that just hated if a random girl friend me... but they would have hundreds of guys and sometimes even say ok... people like to feel wanted... it is lame... Maybe one day I will make it again... It is my way for now of protesting... so when a girls ask about it... I don't have a fb... they get all confused... lol

I dont have Facebook for this reason as well.

If I had a SO and he wanted me to put it I guess I wouldnt care much but knowing me I would probably just take the option off altogether if it were a boyfriend/girlfriend thing but if I were to get engaged or married I would probably put it up...but then I would have to get back ON Facebook to do any of this so meh.

I probably won't be on facebook anymore several months from now. But, this is a good question. I don't really know. I have before, but I don't really have a strong opinion about it now.

Why did you give her access to unfriend your friends? I would never give anyone access to my facebook and I wouldn't dare dream of getting into my boyfriends facebook.
