some women who are used to being mistreated arent used to a person treating them well. they actually begin to expect being degraded or treated lower than they should be. that's why a lot of women actually stay with their abusers, because they probably dont feel worthy of a good person in the first place. after being told you're nothing and being shown it, you begin to believe it. it becomes a sick from of 'love' for them. thus is virtually impossible for them to grow a pair and leave the one who mistreats them.

just move on. you dont need the drama and stupidity. someone out there will appreciate the goodness inside you. dont waste it on a person who doesnt want to be loved properly.
