So confused with this Virgo

I'd like to think things are going well with this Virgo as it has been a month and we've gone on many dates like 7 or 8 now.

I don't know how to put my finger this but I can't figure him out. I wrote it in here before and I asked him about it.

He seems very proactive with the dates like he would the one suggesting when the next date would be.

However, he texts after 5 pm on weekdays on till 9 - 10 pm and he's a teacher. He has a routine going on and I get it. I wouldn't like the constant texting either. but then I feel like he's not that into me?

We have great conversations but I don't feel like I'm connecting with him emotionally, I told him that I felt like he wasn't into me.

His answer was 'I'm so into you and I really like you but I'm just simple guy and I may seem like I'm not forward but I like you'

I'm just not sure anymore and like should I bring it up are we going somewhere? or is this just dating for awhile?

We have 2 weeks off coming up for Christmas Holidays and he's traveling back home and not once he said we should do something.

I get that it's a family time of the year but 2 weeks? like seriously... does he like me or not?

Or Maybe it's more simple & he's just not ur type?

I guess I am my own enemy that's why I'm single hahaha ... I like him, I'm just not sure if he likes me

Erhh but I want to? I'm not sure hahaha see what I mean I can't put my finger on it and I can't say no to him either well not at the moment.
