Team Passive vs Team I-Will-F-You-Up

So I'm listening to a friend whine about how badly people are treating her so far this month.

I'm listening patiently, but I want to throw things at her.

She's a Cancer, very sweet girl, but she tends to bite her tongue instead of speaking up, or out against some form of injustice. She lets people walk all over her, doesn't stand up for herself at all, and then cries about it. Don't get me wrong I feel sorry for her, but she's so focused on "keeping the peace" and not getting into arguments that she ends up hurting herself.

I...just can't fathom, lmfao. Telling people off is my anti-drug. If we're cool, we're cool--I'll find a way to address some misunderstanding between us to try to keep our friendship in tact, but if I don't like you or you're treating me like chit? You're gonna get cursed the fuk out. Are you kidding me?

I've gently tried to tell her, "if you allow people to, they'll walk all over you. No one is saying come out swingin', but at least say "no" or "stop that"..." she claims she doesn't want anyone mad at her, but feels burdened by the responsibility placed upon her to be everything to everyone; to be everyone's bundle of sunshine.

Yeah...I can't.

Personally, I think having an approach between these two frames of mind is healthy. You don't want to get in someone's face just because of a simple disagreement, but I feel you DO need to let people know where the line is, and speak up to keep things in check.

I dunno...I'll listen to her, I'll nod at all the right places...but I couldn't be that person. Quite honestly, I'd rather be the biznitch that rages than the doormat that cries...

i was in the same way untill recent months,now i always put cards on the table and let others know that i know what the real game is.

Let see it from another angle...why people not put in her shoes?they certainly wouldn't want to be treated that way and yet abuse with the cancer's patience.But i can assure you when things really hits the roof,there's no escape ...

Poor girl though--she's a SWEETHEART, but yeah--between her family making ridiculous demands on her (siblings not wanting to work, but expecting her to buy THEIR kids things...) and fake friends who only pop up when they need rides from her somewhere, or something similar...I don't know...

The extremes are not like this,but only stating the facts and pulling down the veil of the real person's identity.cancers are emotional,but also they can observe and made the math pretty simple,the most important is that,people many times before such an "explosion" to occure,can't understand we try to resolve the prolem with delicasy.

Yoooo, don't sleep on Cancers, LOL! I've seen some just have it up to HERE *gestures* and they SNAP! When they snap, they will f'n make your jaw drop. They're sweet, and innocent seeming, but yeah--it's always the sweet ones that will tell you about your mama if you cross them on the wrong day, LOL!

hello,nice to meet someone from "the other side of the river" 😉 . People really underestimate cancers ... they wait to see how far will go the other persons in the lack of respect and even tactfully "open their eyes"on what they're doing .And if that doesn't give a result, then you will see how a cancer will stand up for a cause.Not the crying doormat at all .Learned this from an experience.

i think it depends of the personal level of tolerance,but from what i've been observed the more reactive are :aquas,libras,aries,scorpio and sags. But it will be really interesting to see virgo people point of view,because they are best in analyze

Oh I'm definitely team IWFYU. However, I have met some really tough Cancers who I liken to hammers in a velvet bag. They are so passive-agressive and highly tactical that you wouldn't even know that they hit you upside the head until your laying on the floor knocked the fuck out. They can be downright vindictive, mean and devious when they are good and ready. The ones who have tapped into their evil side can be no joke.

I've seen several cancers "snap" and try to insult me but it did not really impress me. I think when it comes to fighting and insulting the Mars sign is important.

Yeah, but honestly--the ones I've seen snap will go into a tear-filled depression right after.
It's really hard to get them out of it too, it's heartbreaking.
