Unknown Territory

OK, so my Virgo boyfriend of 4 months has been acting strangely.
To set the scene -
Things have been amazing.We compliment each other well. He calms my hot headedness, and I pull him out of his deep get lost in his head moments.
I know he adores me, and has told me that he is in love with me. Is very serious in what he wants in regards to a future with me. This does not scare me, because I am head over heels for him.
BUT, I've had to fly to the other side of the country for a month (ive now been here 2 weeks) and in the last 3 days, he has pulled away. Ive asked him if everything is OK, but he says that I'm just being overly sensitive. I think he's concerned that he may lose me (and I'm the over sensitive one! Ha!), that, combined with him starting a new job, may be sending him haywire? He has withdrawn so much from his usual communication. I know he loves me, but I really don't know how to handle it. Or what this means. Any suggestions??

What are you telling him you've been doing besides work while you are away? The Virgos I know are confident men when in a relationship with their women. Does he miss you? Sure...but it won't make him pull away, it will have them wanting to communicate more. Are you sharing with him what you've been doing? If so, what is it you are sharing.

I told him everything from catching up with friends to literally watching a movie on the couch.
He has started a new career path, and is not very stable or settled. He is very insecure about himself, and often puts in comments about how "I'm too gorgeous to be his" or "girls like you can easily replace guys like me".. Meanwhile I have never ever given him a reason to doubt me. He texts me saying how he misses me constantly etc etc. But he's says now that it isn't going to work because " he's lost trust in me" ONLY because I am not with him atm. I don't want to give up, but he has completely shut me out. From one extreme to another in a matter of a week. I want to just give up, feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. But I love him to much, and I know he loves me. I feel so let down and he won't even justify his actions. Have no idea what to do! Guh.
