Virgo Boss

Hi everyone, I know I'm a random lurking anonymous person who got an account just for the sole purpose of asking this question, but please help.

In my office, there's me, my supervisor (Aries), and his boss, the Virgo. When my supervisor isn't around, I need to go higher up to the Virgo for assistance. Of course, there are other people in the office, but those are the important details you should know. Yesterday, ten minutes after my supervisor left the building, we had an announcement: there was a bomb threat, and they wanted us to go home immediately.

I went to the Virgo boss and expressed my concern for the missing supervisor - I didn't want him to return to the building or come to work the next day without knowing the details. Since our boss had his contact information and not me, I asked him for assistance with this matter.

The Virgo boss said that he would take care of it, and I was relieved. Fast forward to the next day, my supervisor comes in, ticked off because he had just now found out about this problem, and nobody had bothered to tell him about it, even when he was still at the office (Virgo boss and most of our supervisors had obviously known about this problem before, because the police were in our building for a full two hours before the announcement).

My supervisor is in charge of surveillance and getting reports of suspicious activity, and he had previously pointed out a person who was sending threatening messages to us. Turns out, that WAS the person who had sent in the bomb threat. Nobody went to my supervisor, who had his phone number, details, and everything. I asked him if at least our boss had contacted him about it.

No, he said, he didn't get any info, or even an e-mail.

SO, now I'm annoyed, because this Virgo boss was someone I respected, and lately he's been doing similar things like this, where he was basically not doing his job, or back out of something with, "I'm not getting involved in this." Well, that's too bad, but when you're in charge, you have to take responsibility for the problems that come up! I'm very disappointed, and no longer have faith in my Virgo boss.

My question is this: Is this a Virgo thing? Are Virgo bosses like this? He has a lot of Libra in his astrological chart. Is this why he's so damn wishy-washy? Or do you think he either dislikes me or my supervisor, and doesn't want to do us a "favor" by helping us out? Do you think he just completely forgot? (Continued)

I'm also wondering if I should go to my Virgo boss about this and address the issue with him. Or should I just wait for another opportunity for him to "help" and see if he keeps his word next time, and not judge him by this one error? I have personally not been given the opportunity to deal with him face to face before, and this is the first time I have gone to him about a problem. The only indication that he's done something like this before is from hearing other people complain about his lack of help in most matters. I normally don't judge by what other people say but by what I see, and I don't usually like to jump to conclusions, but this really bothers me.

You right when you say "But how can you forget about a BOMB THREAT??"...

Your boss may have thought there were more seriuos issues to confront than contact the Aries Supervisor... "just to tell him about the bomb threat" (although its a serious case). Virgo's tend to overlook the details that they think aren't irrelevant!

Virgos also tend to want to be in control of everything and perhaps he just did not know how to handle this situation... phoning his Aries Supervisor may have shown some lack of control and also because he was the last one to know that there was a problem in the building. Most probably, he was expecting the Aries to phone him about the situation (even though the Aries never knew about it!)

Your boss may also be feel threatened in some way or another by this "Aries Supervisor".

Virgo's don't really like confrontation (from what I know), especially if they are the boss! If you wish to discuss this situation with him, tell it to him in the nicest way possible (it could affect your relationship with your boss in a negative way).

From what I have seen from my Virgo friends that are Bosses, you can never please them! They will always have something to complain about, they are always right and always fussy!!
